Fair play to Goodwin promotions for helping fighters get there careers back on track its not easy for small hall promotors in this sport and to turn around a fighters career is a hard task i hope it works out for Goodwin promotions and Ian Lewison perhaps in hind sight puting adams in with audly was a couple of steps two far it would be good to see lewison have 4 or 5 learning fights and then look at southern area

The decision to put Audley Harrison in with Ali Adams was that solely of trainer Don Charles who genuinely believed that Ali would win.

I promised Ali Adams that I would deliver a big fight when his trainer made that decision and when I took Ali on it was on that basis.

I provided a list of heavyweights I could get and Don Charles wanted Audley.

As far as Ian Lewison is concerned I will make these decisions alongside Ian and we will not be rushing him. However when I consider the time is right then I will be happy to spend the money to help achieve his goals.

Ian however has to prove commitment and maintain a very good level of fitness. Providing he does the world is his oyster

What I have proved is that I will deliver massive fights for boxers that sign with me. I do not make false promises.

Christ Almighty, Steve. I respect you as a fella but a businessman you actually let Don Charles make such a decision for you? Don't get me wrong, Don's a great guy, a fantastic bloke but claims 'David Haye can't beat me in a boxing match' and Ali (yeah, Adams) 'has the best jab in the world'.

He's as mad as a box of frogs. When you let people like that influence business decisions you're guaranteed to lose money.
