It's very unlikely that 'Knockout CP Freshmart' is his real name, but it is a cracking name!

CP Fresh Mart is part of the Charoen Pokphand Foods Group and they have got numerous Muy Thai boxers named after it (and some other pro boxers, including Noknoi CP Freshmart). They have held numerous 8 man tournaments in Thailand. They are targeting various sports to gain a global brand name. They also have plans to sponsor an English Premier League team in the next couple of years.

A name can easily be changed (to something silly) by deed poll (or the equivalent in Thailand) but that isn't the case with all these 'Freshmart' names, that was the point I was making ;;-) They are merely marketing nicknames.

Nasser fought Dennapa bigshotcamp in dubai for the WBC title, he was named after his boxing gym, famous in Thailand, he took the name to signify where he comes from and in respect for his club, quite common in Thailand.

Very common to take either the gym name or the sponsors name in Thailand. If you look at Samson Dutch Boy Gym he seemed to change his name every other fight.
