Hatton
maybe the case but he still is the man at the diviion an has still boxed better opponents than witter.
really im very tired of this subject, it got boring a long time ago.
witter hasnt done himself any favours with his behaviour in my opinion, and hatton isnt about to do him any niether, get over it.
its the way it is and we can bitch about it as much as we like.
I wish they woudl both just get on with their careers and forget it.

Don't see the problem, Hatton vs Mayweather is far more likely to happen if Hatton has two of the three belts and that's a fight that won't happen at all if it doesn't happen soon. Plus, it's about fornicating time all the divisions were unified, Hatton's fortunate that he's gotten to Maussa first, it could have been Mayweather or Cotto and I doubt they would've drawn any flack at all had that been the case.

Hattons basically betrayed the sport by not fighting his nearest domestic rival in Witter. Witter for the first few years was respectful, but hes been blatantly ducked. Hatton has been protectively managed.J wrote:maybe the case but he still is the man at the diviion an has still boxed better opponents than witter.

If Hatton is the man in the division remains to be seen regardless if he beat Tyuzu or not, by the standard of his future opponents. HE NEEDS TO STEP UP AFTER MAUSSA otherwise hes another Shannon Briggs - linear champ in name but nothing more than a glorified contender.
I'm sure witter would have fought and beat Hattons level of comp if given the chance, but he hasn't had the 'golden boy' silver spoon in the mouth treatment hattons had.

How is Tyson the best 2 round fighter in the world when he couldn't even stop McBride or Danny Williams? He hasn't beaten a top 10 contender since 1997 you plonker.
Tszyu destroyed, yes DESTROYED Sharmba Mitchell, who was regarded as a genuine #1 contender in the division. You cannot compare that to getting stopped by Williams and McBride in back to back fights.
Show me ANY evidence that Tszyu was shot. He was murdering Hatton in the middle rounds until the constant pressure got to him and he tired.
Funny how before the fight Tszyu was a P4P top 5 and now because he lost to Hatton he's shot.
Tszyu had the fight beaten out of him by a younger, hungrier

Mitchell was number 1 contender when he really lost to Ndou? Find an impartial fan who thought Mitchell beat Ndou because he didnt. Mitchell was shot and probably lacks heart.jamesmcdonnell wrote:What fornicating bollocks.Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote:So Tyuzus the best in the world for 3rounds doesnt mean he isnt shot, Tysons still the best HW in the world for 2rounds.jamesmcdonnell wrote:and those 3 rounds were a demolition of Sharmba Mitchell....

Who do you thinks better than Tyson for 2rounds (maybe Wlad)? He took the first round against Lennox too. He just colapses after 2rounds.
If your aware I picked Tyuzu to win you'll also be aware I stated I overated him after the event.

The only 1 been gay to a northern fighter is you with your hero worship of Hatton pasty balls. I don't even think Witter will beat Hatton but Hattons still blatantly ducking the real domestic challenge - hence he is betraying the sport. I assume you haven't seen the McBride fight? He was shit from first bell to last. If thats the best 2 round heavyweight they may aswell all retire right now!!Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote:Mitchell was number 1 contender when he really lost to Ndou? No I havent seen the McBride fight - BUT I know what happened. Tyson can be the best 2round heavyweight but he was told to pace himself - which doesn't work with Tysons style.nickd wrote:I assume you haven't seen the McBride fight? Lets ask a question - if Tyuzu was able to win the middle rounds why wouldn't he have won the late rounds if he had enough stamina.
Boxings largely about stamina - hence I pick Hatton to beat Witter as Witter has poor stamina (low bodyfat poor stamina). Witter would win the first 5rounds and Hatton the last 7. But Witter may grab the last 1 or 2 rounds if hes still standing after punching himself out.......Would be a close fight, Hatton knows it and hence the blatant ducking.

You're only as good as your last fight and Tyson has zero intensity I suggest you have a look at it.Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote:No I havent seen the McBride fight - BUT I know what happened. Quite Possibly, I'm pretty certain Witter would put the pain on Hatton in rounds 1-5. I'd expect Witter to train harder for Hatton and learn from the last 2 fights to give a career best perfomance either way. Its a possibility he didn't train much for Kotlenik. So he may not run out of gas but if he doesn't he'll win a UD. Bare in mind Witter was used to blowing opponents out so hes not used to pacing himself.jamesmcdonnell wrote:

I'd also like to mention the fact that Witter may be already shot.

So Low bodyfat = low stamina does it....hmmm Paula Radcliffe had better get herself on a donut diet then before her next race....body fat doesn't become an issue for stamina until all other reserves of energy are depleted.nickd wrote:You're only as good as your last fight and Tyson has zero intensity I suggest you have a look at it.Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote:No I havent seen the McBride fight - BUT I know what happened. When did I say low bodyfat equalled low stamina. I said Witter has low bodyfat but that doesn't mean he has good stamina. Do you dispute Witter has stamina issues? Ronnie Coleman might have 3% bodyfat but put him in the ring and he'll be gasping for air after a round.jamesmcdonnell wrote:
