Hopefully IBF get thier act together and do the same and we could have a undisputed triple champion

probably wont happen of course

on another note, i've just posted on another thread about the WBC not wanting to be a part of unification fights.

doesn't the timing of this seem a tad coincidental.

WBC have just came out and said they don't want someone (Saul Alvarez) fighting for thier belt in a unification bout

now WBA have just thrown thier belt into the mix, turning a WBC bout into a unification bout

Peterson is no longer the super champ - the winner of Khan/Garcia will assume the mantle of unified champ.

Maidana can continue to fool the general public in his homeland with his bogus strap.

If the IBF do the same wont that mean the winner becomes Undisputed Champ?

Ironically, Schaefer is promoting the INTERIM WBA light-welterweight title in Mexico on July 21st. And on the very same date, in the very same country, the WBO version is also tentatively scheduled. Plus the IBO version takes place in Russia in October.

So, we're getting there
