Re: woodhouse coyle fb twitter war
They all say they want to fight me but if they really did all they have to do is ring dave coldwell offer the fight and ill do what I always do say yes, job done let's fight, but surprisingly we haven't had the call
Re: woodhouse coyle fb twitter war
Coyle is a bit mouthy for a lad who's not fought anyone yet.
I think Steve Wood does move fighters too slowly, look at Tyrone Nurse, 20-0 I think he was over quite some time, but very little step up over that period. I saw him do a decent job on Baz Carey and afterwards fought similar level fighters.
Some of his fans on FB make me laugh though, liking all his unfunny comments about china chins and skills paying bills. You'd think he was Floyd Mayweather or something haha.
Saying that I think a lot of the 6-150 journeymen need to be fighting each other rather than 10-0 young lads. 40-36 or 60-54 fights do nobody any good.

He is using you Curtis to get his name out there cos he hasnt made any kind of splash at all. Nobody on here would have mentioned him unless he had this stuff with you on facebook and twitter.
Re: woodhouse coyle fb twitter war
He's a good lad is tommy seen him over in batley loads of times sparring with Gary Sykes and carl Johannson always willing to help out when asked hope he goes far ,as for twitter war think Curtis and tommy enjoy the banter so good on em it's better than reading which nandos Joe gallaghers in .might be wrong but I'm sure Chris Aston is Tyrone Nurse manager not Steve .

Re: woodhouse coyle fb twitter war
Lol, tommy has named himself the pride of hull! I'd take that as a diss! If tommy really wanted to fight me steve wood could easily call dave coldwell and make the fight in under 1 minute, I've never ducked anybody and I wouldn't start with a lightweight who hasn't boxed anybody with a winning record in 4 years, some people talk about fighting others like myself just get in there and make them happen, the fight won't happen they won't let him near me, end of story

Curtis ,
If you can make 9st 9lb and the board pass you for the English title you can have the fight on 28th September at Hull -no shit .
U want it , then it's is done - if not call it a day with the Tommy banter because it is boring

Re: woodhouse coyle fb twitter war
Curtis is a good boxer and a game man and he did his profile a load of good by sticking it to Frankie Gavin on here and other places. He got the bout because of it; it got things stirred up and he got his chance and did well with it; it raised his profile no end and showed he weren't a novelty. If Curtis can do a bit of self promoting and sell a fight; why not another lad? If he wants it he can have it! The squeeky wheel gets the grease.smoggy7188 wrote:He is using you Curtis to get his name out there cos he hasnt made any kind of splash at all. Tommy Coyle is a very good prospect, great balance, good handspeed and works very hard. Easy to rubbish titles and fighters opposition, but too many kids these days go into big fights when they are not ready. Tommy is clearly a LW Curtis so either take the fight offered or move on and fight someone your own weight. Tommy's career going just fine.

Re: woodhouse coyle fb twitter war
3 problems with the fight first I'm fighting dave ryan on that day 2nd I'm promoted by dave coldwell I doubt he would allow me to box on a steve wood show and 3rd and most importantly I'm physically unable to make 9st9, its a very hard making 10st, so the fight has zero chance of happening at 9st9, 10st yes 9st9 no chance, I can't be clearer that that
Re: woodhouse coyle fb twitter war
Too many kids these days don't step up properly, they have way too many easy fights and then fall WAY short when in their first tough fight.
Look at Tom Dallas, looked alright beating some of the worst European journeymen ever to lace them up, then was soundly beaten by a solid operator in Zack Page.
Coyle might be a top prospect but my god, his record is filled with poor opponents at the minute.
