nuff said.

whatever mate you are blatently a prize prick even when presented with facts you tried to work your way out of it.

im bored of talking to you now, suggest you use you "intellect" to learn where south east asia is, your argument is pathetic.

you bought hitler in as a comparison of my following of hatton.

thats pretty low in my opinion.

as for my intellect it is very apparent mate, that im smarter than you are , secondly what i do for a living would support a pretty high level of rational and educated intellect so one suggests that you should learn a simple thing like where countries are, before being detrimental in the outset over folk that you know nothing about.

cos you might get your fingers burned.

goodbye you ignorant pratt. enjoy looking at that atlas. :TU:
You just gave me the Western Definition, go look up the Islamic definition. Paks refer to Pakistan as South East Asia.

I don't profess to know about Geography, I was talking about boxing, which you don't debate on because you can see your beat.

You can call me prick on here but I doubt you'd say it to my face, because your white collar office worker whos a hardman in your dreams. And your only way of been a realman in your mind is to get some kind of self achievement through Ricky Hattons achievement. Hence when its quite correctly pointed out hes a well managed duck specialist it upsets you.

As for your job, I run my own business and I gurantee in a week I'll at least earn what you do in a month. And studying stock markets or whatever you do is barely advanced.

1. im not gettiing drawn into this again but to bring some closure, are you muslim cos im not and i cant see what relevance that has then, AND youre talking out your arse cos as i requested from my muslim boss if under any cricumstances Pakistan would be know as south east asia, he looked at me and said what the fornicate are you on about.;

2. Yes i woudl call you a prick to your face sunshine, you really are mixing me up qwith somone else iof you think i dont do what i say and am bothered about speaking my mind no matter what the consequences. Those who know will back that up and yes i can handle myself so dont get too confused mate just cos you work in office doesnt mean you are a pussy.

3. Who brought money into it, but i very much doubt you do mate.

4. studying stock markets what? there you go again making assumptions bout stuff you know fornicate all about.stop it.

5. Silkov has a different opinion to me, dont see me and him rowing, its you that got downright rude with your hitler analogy, no matter who it was intended, i find it offensive and responded as such. Since then you have made numrous assunmptioons and allegations about me personally none of which hold any water. you on the other hand are definitely a prick.

6. As for achievements again you are crapping on about things you know fornicate all about. You dont know me from adam mate, but i tell you one thing as far a sport goes ive acheieved quite a bit, playing cricket and rugby to county standard as a late teen and a second dan in Wado ryu so think on dickhead.

now, im gonna let this drop cos its futile arguing with someone who basically doesnt know his arse from his elbow.

and search keep fornicating out of it, i still owe you from the 7.7 mate.

i will never forget that. :box:
1st off in terms of insults, who started talking about Witter blown up dolls and telling me to F OFF? Yea u did. Second Off in terms of this discussion - find my first post on it, I told Silkov to foget about that fight for now. But I had to respond to yours and some other obvious disrespect and bias against Witter (I respect each fighter and consider myself unbiased). I don't see you as a boxing fan if you can't respect fighters. Now I expect you won't respond to any of this because you duck my main points like Hatton ducks slick fighters.

Now as for your points:

1. Yes I am and Paks round here call Pakistan south east asia wrongly or rightly. I never professed to be a geography expert its not my field of expertise (stopped studying that at 14).

2. I take it you get knocked out allot explaining your obvious brain damage  , and you wouldn't I don't try to act the big man but people very rarely want to pick fights with me for good reason, the size I have is intimidating - not that I try to use it as such.

3. Your the 1 started trying to show off about your job and I bet I do by a long way

4. Didn't you say you were up late studying the markets as part of your job?

5. Very touchy, I'm correct in that case

PS I won't stoop to the level of swearing or insulting your family you obviously do a good enough job of that yourself

Well would you say Witter is a draw? People who attend fights to see Hatton are not regular boxing fans in the main, they won't even know who Witter is.

Maussa is a bigger fight here than Witter?.... thats rubbish mate and you should know it. If you really don't think Hatton vs Witter is a big fight then I don't know where you've been living. Aside from that Hatton isn't avoiding Witter because he's worried about the 'draw'. Hattons fought so many pushovers... were they all bigger draws than Witter???..... nonsense!.
I can guarantee that Hatton v Maussa for a UNIFICATION FIGHT, will sell more PPV than Hatton v Witter.

Now its now gonna happen til JW brings osmethign to the table and why should he fight him for little reward.

As i said earlier in the thread this is the same old argument going round in cricles, i wish they would just both get on with their careers to be honest.
Same old argument cause Hatton keeps doing the same old ducking routine. As for FW being responsible for Hatton not fighting Witter, Hatton isn't with Alleged now is he and he still shows no sign of wanting to sort things out with Witter.
As for Hatton fighting Witter for little reward do you really think Hatton wouldn't get more money fighting Witter than he is getting fighting Maussa.
A Witter vs Hatton fight would be huge here and it could sell in America now too as Witter has a good profile there now. I doubt the American networks are fighting eachother for Hatton vs Maussa!.
Hatton vs Witter would be the biggest fight here since Bruno vs lewis and I agree with what another poster said earlier that Hatton has betrayed the sport by not fighting Witter... its the bloody truth. Hatton vs Witter should have taken place 2 or 3 years ago!.
I actually think Witter is on the wane now... a boxer with his style uasually starts to fade in his late 20s or early 30s. The speed and stamina starts to go...
I think Ricky was more responsible for the fights falling through than SN. And its showing now. Rickys more a business man than a great warrior. Team Hatton synically pic their opponents - I don't know why people dispute it other than them been in love with Hatton.

Team Hatton know their limitations and won't fight the best very often. Its about milking the audience for as much as they can. While throwing in the occasional big fight when its WIN-WIN situation.

Lets remember Hatton could be fighting Mayweather in November - May needs someone for his PPV (Hatton won't even talk about it). The second biggest fight is Cotto-Hatton - neither fighter want it. The third biggest is Gatti imo (Gattis licking his wounds), the fourth biggest is Zoo 2 (Team Hatton don't want it, Tyuzu may or may not hes been quite), the fifth biggest is Witter (Witter wants it Hatton does not)

I don't think so, the fans know which is a bigger fight. Witter-Hatton is personal - it sells. Every forum in boxing would be talking about it in depth if it was happening. No Witter doesn't have a huge fan base BUT this fight would sell BIG.

It would be the Benn-Eubank of our times the first fight only needed 1 belt.

How can you guarantee that?. Any promoter worth his salt should be able to build Hatton vs Witter into a fight far bigger than the Hatton vs Maussa fight.
All the Maussa fight has going for it is Maussa's bravery and the belt. Hatton vs Witter would be a match between two world class domestic rivals, and a bitter grudge match to boot. How can you claim that it is not as big a fight?. If Witter is so unpopular why has he been Featured in America. The general public doesn't care about Maussas belt they'll be going to watch Hatton fight not to see Maussa. Most of them would turn up if Hatton fought Mickey Mouse. But if Hatton fought Witter many more people would be going to see that fight as they know the history between the two and it would be a genuine world class fight. Witter vs Hatton would be the biggest fight here for years and it could be one of those fights where even non-boxing fans would go along to see who wins.
Witter has his share of supporters too.

The people who watch Hatton fights are not hardcore boxing fans. The MEN Arena is packed out with pissed young lads who watch the footie and Ricky but fornicate all other boxing.

Are you SERIOUSLY telling me, that it's not going to be easier to sell a PPV of a unification bout.

Imagine the build-up.

"Ricky Hatton, he ripped the IBF from one of the top men in the world P4P, in 11 torried rounds, forcing the iron-man Kostya Tszyu to quit on his stool at the end of the 11th."

"Now Ricky is looking for his place in history, and the obstacle standing between him and unification of the titles is Carlos Maussa, who shocked Vivian Harris and the boxing world, by stopping the WBA belt holder in his tracks to upset the applecart and burst onto the world scene."

"Maussa, dangerous, unorthodox and unpredictable, how will Hatton cope with the whirlwind style of the WBA champion, can he withstand the furious onslaught and add the WBA belt to his own IBF world title, the form book says yes, but as we know Maussa is a man who takes great pleasure in tearing up the form book."

Blah...blah....

It's irrelevant whether people know Maussa or not, they know he has a belt, and they know the fight is a unification battle.

Right, so now you're telling me Witter is a household name like Benn or Eubank? Two words....wake up.

Hatton is nowhere near as well known as either Benn or Eubank, nowhere! Those men made their names on terresstrial TV EVERYONE knew who they were, even my mum who hates boxing knew who they were. She wouldn't know Ricky Hatton if he came round and crapped on her living room carpet.

If you think PPV's are sold exlusively to the people who populate boxing forums then you're quite mad. They make up a TINY proportion of those who sit watching sport on TV and shell out 15 quid to do so.

We are the people who play a part in building up fighters James. And if all the fans buy it, tell all their mates, the trade price would hype this fight to the moon and the newspapers would cotton on its a big fight. And tabloids love personal conflicts in sports - nothing sells better. Thats why I believe it would sell better

We play virtually NO PART, in building fights up....we're just a bunch of borderline obsessives who sit here pontificating about boxing, how many people do you think post regularly on boxing forums in the UK, maybe 500, 1000? The general public don't read anything on here, so what influence do we have?

The Trade Press influence the public though and papers. Even the Newspaper sports editor would know Witter-Hatton would be huge. The fight would get hyped. Hatton gets press as it is - if hes fighting a genuine threat with a personal feud its bound to get more press than Cotto leftovers.

Maussa may have a belt but hes a nobody, remember Broadie-Chi was for the WBC and that didn't. From what I've heard US TV is not interesting in Maussa-Hatton.

It would be interesting to see how many hits specific boxing forums do get.

Plus what your also fogeting is the re-match possibilities - if this is the sort of fight I believe it would be it'd be a close cracker and the rematch would sell even more.

latest development on the FW V RH saga.
If hatton signed the letter he is screwed.

BBC :
allegedly has produced documentary evidence that he says confirms his Sports Network company has a binding contract with Ricky Hatton.
The contract for Hatton's bout with Ray Oliveira in December 2004 stated it was "pursuant to and in accordance with" a letter from Warren dated 7 December.

That letter stated Sports Network would promote Hatton's next four fights.

The fight contract was signed by Hatton and witnessed by Robert Smith of the British Boxing Board of Control.

The agreement was made on 11 December, the day of the fight with Oliveira.

Since then Hatton's only outing has been his world title victory over Kostya Tszyu.

Under such an agreement, Hatton would be tied to Sports Network for three more fights.

Hatton has denied any agreement tying him to Sports Network exists and that he should be free to talk to other promoters.

Warren initiated legal proceedings against Hatton earlier this month because of the disagreement.

Are you seriously telling me that Hattons fans won't turn up to see Ricky try and shut Witters mouth?... and viseversa??.
As you said many of those who go and watch Hatton are not hardcore boxing fans... as such they don't give a monkeys about Hatton vs Maussa being a 'unification' fight. Most probably don't even know what belt Maussa holds and I doubt many care... they are going to see Hatton that is all.
People love grudge fights... Hatton vs Witter would attract both the 'Saturday night out for a booze up and a curry after watching a fight' crowd plus the true boxing fans and much larger numbers of both sets of people than Hatton vs Maussa.
Imagine all the publicity and press (yes remember when fights were actually reported in the dailys) that Hatton vs Witter could produce. I doubt there will be more than a few lines written about the Maussa bout except due to Rickys legal problems.
Remember even fights like Hide vs Bentt drew big publicity because they were grudge fights.
There is about 3 years of challenges and badmouthing etc between Hatton and Witter if that isn't good publicity or build up I don't know what is.
Surely you can see there is far more material to build up Hatton vs Witter than there is to build up the Maussa bout.
For one thing no one can be sure who would win Hatton vs Witter.... can you really say the same for Hatton vs Maussa?.
Harris obviously forgot to train for Maussa, there was something very wrong with him that night. Unless Ricky does the same I don't see Maussa going past 5. It could be over in one or two rounds.
People used to use the same excuses with Herol Graham that he wasn't a draw but its all tosh to be blunt. When Herol fought Mark Kaylor in London the place was packed out. 'He's not a draw' usually means that he's too damn good to be given a chance.

Hmm, Ricky could be screwed here. If Ray Hatton signed for the letter when it was delivered it really counts for squat whether he ripped it up or not, as since it appears to be binding to this 'contract/agreement', all Warren needs is a copy of what he sent along with the two sent/received signatures to firm up his claims. The ball looks to be in Warren's court now.

I hope they don't build Maussa up too much, it'll seem pretty daft once people see the guy go to work.

Maussa makes Ricardo Mayorga look well schooled.
