Really good value for money bill.
Small hall show with Courtney Fry, Kenny Anderson, local talent and A 10 ROUND minor title fight. Can anyone explain why it was so poorly attended in what is often called "a Fight City?"![[icon_witsend.gif] :witzend:](./images/smilies/icon_witsend.gif)

Would have a guess at 300 tops. Dont think they had a bar in operation or food for that matter, but maybe just as well as whoever operates them wouldn't have made much.

good promotions aswell if you went with an amature book you got in for a fiver, am not sure how well publicsised this was, me and a few of teh scottish boys were going to come down watch kenny but left it to late, was it telivised at all?
Re: VIP/VAUGHAN Boxing Show This Saturday, 30th June, at Liverpo
Ticket prices were too dear for the standard on show. The fights were mismatches and with all due respect to Harkin (who's a good kid), he's not a headliner.maninthemiddle wrote:Really good value for money bill.

Re: VIP/VAUGHAN Boxing Show This Saturday, 30th June, at Liverpo
OK card but £50 for ringside seats and £30 for non-ringside in Liverpool is way too expensive for what was on offer and I think it was very unrealistic to expect the place to be packed out. I know the football season is not in progress at the moment but that is more than it costs to see Liverpool or Everton play in a Premiership home match.
Anderson is a proven quality operator but when he's put in with a journeyman and the main event is a fight between two decent (but certainly not household name) prospects then I think the pricing needs to be more realistic. Perhaps £30 for ringside and £15 for general admission.
