Simmons W PTS 6 against a durable Andrejevs. Good experience for Simmons in his fifth fight all one way traffic and an easy win.

John Thain W PTS 59-55 Tony Randell. Good win, but doesnt look like he punches hard enough to trouble the top fighters. But he works hard and he won well.
Re: Kelvin Hall Updates: Results and Harrison/Appleby/Simpson
pretty boring and predictable undercard,, showcases the boys talents i guess, main event should be decent and at least we get to see what scott has left

These have been far too 1-sided to be interesting. Thain looks like his power (or rather lack of) is REALLY going to hold him back.

Good to see him back, he looks in good shape far from pedantic first round, looking busy and sharp

Harrison has him down 3 times with body shots in Rd 2. Moving into round 3 - looks good.

i know he has had a 7 year lay off but surely he could have had a better comeback than against a 10 year old kid who cant even get shorts to fit.

DOn't understand why that guy keeps pulling his shorts down??? Guess the protector must be uncomfortable.
The guy has the face and body of a pubescent biy although seems to have some skill

Fight over round 4 - Harrison returns with a good win. Well done!

Re: Kelvin Hall Updates: Results and Harrison/Appleby/Simpson
He looked good.

If Harrison can keep off the tiddly, there's some interesting fights at lightweight.

Harrison's body shape is so different from before.... Does he have the same doctor as Larry O?

He does look good at the weight. He still looks a troubled soul to me after seeing the interview.

He looks very muscular and even bigger from previously; who knows where he goes from here but I'm happy to see him back and as impressive as he was before. Hopefully he gets a good British level fight next.reggaereggae wrote:Harrison's body shape is so different from before.... Does he have the same doctor as Larry O?
I agree it is different - but I guess thats what 6 years out the game happens.
He's a Scottish version of Mike Tyson; imposes his will on other fighters and is a machine. But I really hope his problems are behind him

No, i'd like to see Harrison take on a better quality than tonights opponent next, then think about moving to title class. He needs to know what happens when someone punches back first.bigped wrote:use think he beats derry nxt?

2-0 Simpson
Appleby bullied him against the ropes during the last minute, but Simpson is landing much better shots.
