You can't compare a boxer to an MMA guy under sparring conditions, Em. The boxer relies on full-force striking ability to keep the wrestler away. Of course Haye's going to school if he's pulling his punches.

To be fair though lefty; if David Haye has been instructed in grappling and training with half competant grapplers then he'll be better at grapling than 99% of the public and 90% of boxers. He may not be a top level wrestler but would have an added tool to use wen in that range. Fair play to him; Chisora is a strong man and lots o grappling is techinque, angles and awareness.

(A good grappler will kick arse, believe me).

Na i understand your point but Chisora didnt even have a chance as Haye hit him as soon as he got near him and then pulled him down and was hitting him with elbows to the back of the head. Then Charles goes towards Haye gets clouted but goes back again and they start grappling and I didnt see Haye get the better of him and Charles is a 50 yr old man!

I think were at cross ends so won't labour the point; Haye was more at fault for all the brawling in Munich that anyone else imo.

If Haye were rolling with decent level (not top competitors or ranked men) he'd have moore than enough to pull someone apart without hitting them.

It should be a good fight and I'm glad you're back on the site
