John Keaton, the young dutch guy

Just seen that John 'buster' Keaton has just lost inside a round for the vacant Dutch Cruiserweight title on Saturday . Now i'm pretty sure that John isn't Dutch, maybe it was some distant relative that qualified him.

In the fight before this Keaton contested the WBC Youth Cruiserweight Title, getting stopped in the 4th round, he was born in 1972 the same year as me, so its nice to know i'm still in my youth.

It's basically to do with a lack of fighters in that region. Hersisia, for example, is another who's had to fight Romanians and the like for the Dutch heavyweight title. I did see something like "only Hersisia is permitted to win the belt" or something.

I just noticed the age thing as well with Keaton 33! Don't know how that happened. Is it 25 usually the qualifying age?

I tell you something, there's a lot of exciting young cruiserweights coming through - Wlodarczyk being one of them, and the German Marco Huck, who at 20 has just beaten Rudigar May in just his 11th fight

cheers for the pics, i was just wondering about boxing in Holland, there doesn't seem to be many boxers coming through there, is there any reason for this?

We are top-5 of the world in sports like Muay Thai or Kickboxing, they generate much more interest.
