How and Where? - Plans for Haye v Chisora night!!

Post by Finn »

Many of you will be going and most will be watching, so what are your plans for the night and is anyone pulling an all nighter to watch Khan v Garcia too (not interested in the people who arent watching; nobody wants to hear your boring ass plans).

Im having a house full of friends probably cook up some BBQ style food, send my son to his aunts house for the night then let the Jager bombs and mixed fruit / pear cider flow and try make it right though the night. Have sky bet open on the laptop for some fairly decent sized bets on haye to ko chisorasaurus.

I'm going with a mate. Gonna meet him at about 4pm at Upton Park tube and then head into one of the nearby boozers for some food and some pre-fight beers. Head to the ground at about 7.30pm and enjoy the action. Probably a load more beers afterwards and maybe watch the Khan fight when I get home if I can stay awake!

Have already had 100 quid on Haye by stoppage at 2/1 with Boylesports and 100 quid on him just to win at 2/5 so hoping he puts on an emphatic display!

I would imagine an afternoon in the Bar Locks in Aldgate and then head up to Upton Park for about 6ish. Of the six of us that are going, I'm the only hard core boxing fan (I can call myself that because I subscribe to B ox Nation 8) ) so I reckon it'll be difficult for me to drag them in to see all the undercard so I reckon we'll probably have a few near the ground before going in.

Haye vs Chisora, sanctioned by who!?!?!

Post by PokerRob »

I keep reading everywhere that the Luxembourg Boxing Federation are sanctioning the fight bewteen David Haye and Dereck Chisora, but would I be correct in thinking that this is not true.
And it is in actual fact the WBA and WBO (and 1 other I think) who are sanctioning the fight, whilst the Luxembourg Boxing Federation are LICENSING the fight!!!!!

It is just the WBA and WBO are putting a couple of belts and thats it. The WBC have banned both of them following that brawl and I don't think the IBF have expressed an interest in it all

I was offered 2 ringside tickets for this by a good friend, I have never been so insulted in my life and have not spoken to him since.
