I'd be very interested to know if this actually happened.

Just to make this crystal - it might be an editorial stance...but it isn't mine!

I would go much further, naturally

That was their original stance but the back peddled and changed their statement. Anyone now involved will be called before them. Not sure what for though now as it appears they are doing nothing wrong.

..... but I ask again, as a fighter with aspirations at British Title level, would you take the chance and fight on the undercard ?

It has everything to do with it.
Alright for Haye and Chisora with their fortunes stashed, but what about the future of BRITISH boxing ?
I don't give a flying f**k about Haye or Chisora.

Noones getting their licenced revoked anyways, theyre getting called to a hearing where theyll be asked polite to please not do it again...

That's it ?
That's all you've got to base your beliefs upon ?
Facts are facts.
Several boxers, seconds, trainers, refs, etc etc have been told to give this event a wide berth because NO ONE can say with any vailidity whatsoever what will happen (if indeed ANYTHING happens) post participation and as such as with most things in life you have to apply our own risk assessment.
The fact that the undercard is so poor, we can't even get an agreement on the ref (because Micey Vann was the only one they could dig up) etc etc speaks volumes.
No doubt whatsoever the event will take place.
Winners ? Bunny, Haye (if 3 mill is to be believed) Chisora.
Losers ? Well that remains to be seen.

The facts are that FW is doing nothing wrong (morally he is but that's a different discussion). To then withdraw licences is unlawful. Do you take someone's driving licence away because they bought a car from North Korea which is funding their econamy? No, but it might be morally wrong...

Buglıonı and Gavın have saıd they turned down chances to appear on the show as they want to fıght for Brıtısh tıtles and dıdn't want to rısk black marks agaınst them. I'd guess a lot of genuıne prospects feel the same way but that fıghters wıth less promısıng futures mıght just vıew ıt as a better than average payday and only thınk short term. I've heard of at least one 'jobber' beıng offered well over the odds to appear.

What's wrong with you you got ADHD or summit? I'm not telling anyone to listen to me I'm stating facts.
You seem fixated on the undercard. It doesn't matter, once the fight is over we'll know the outcome.

ADHD summit ?
I hate heights mate.
You are not stating facts. You are providing you take on the matter.
Even you cannot give a guarantee how the legal process will unfold.
If it was factual that licences would not be affected etc etc then why has (for instance) Frankie Gavin refused to appear for fear it will end his chance of being British Champion ?

If you don't agree with it don't watch the fight. If you watch it you agree with it. Simples

That's a hugely naive summary of events. My first reaction on the announcement of this fight was that I don't agree with it happening, but I will watch it. And I feel pretty much the same, although my excitement for the fight is significantly soured by the out of ring shenanigans surrounding it.

There is but one reason that this fight couldn't have happened in, say, September with both fighters being perceived to have served some kind of penance for the misdeeds in Munich. That reason is money. It has nothing to do with morals, legal arguments (the nonsense over whether Chisora is banned is one of semantics in my eyes), poor del-boys inability to earn while out of the the ring for three months, the need to keep FWPs roster of fighters busy or any of the other spurious reasons being cited. It's not even a fight for a title of any substance, consequence or prestige. FW stated at the time that he'd want nothing to do with a fight between the two, but quickly changed his tune. It is interesting that he remains on the periphery of this fight in terms of official involvement, but we can guarantee that his gurning mug will be smiling up at us from a prize ringside seat on fight night.

It's a fight I'm happy to watch, but would prefer it under different circumstances.

FFS - a question is one of those long lines of words with a question mark at the end of it.
