They probably wont but thats life to be brutually frank! Its a dog eat dog world. Hatton will have to start signing up better fighters or atleast more commercially appealing fighters and try and get a tv deal elsewhere which im led to believe is what he's trying to do.

Let's not fool ourselves.
There was a point earlier in the year when Sky were within a breath of abandoning boxing.
Praise the Lord for Barney Francis.
However we are now left with a monopoly situation with Matchroom.
Is it any wonder they are mopping up the new pros ?
Aside from Hennessey who can offer some crumbs, what can the others offer ?
What astoinishes me with Sky is they they have been here before.
Oh Worthy One had a monopoly situation and what did he do ?
Abuse it.
Sky know it everyone else knows it.
Will Matchroom be any diffferent ?
I hope so, I really hope so.
Can I just say that Johnny Wish is an absolute Gent.
If all the other Promotors had a guy with his level of entegrity then boxing would be in a better place.
I just have a nervous feeling that once the honeymoon is over we'll be served up the old mis match stuff.
It says everything about boxing as an industry when the likes of Hatton and Bunny can talk about working together in 2012.
Does everyone in boxing clear their history after 36 months as though it never happened ?

You've also got to remember that the rights for the premier league football have gone up 700% or something ridiculous like that. The Sheffield training base for the amateurs has started to become known as Matchroom ABC.

Do you agree or disagree that it is wrong for Matchroom to have such a monopoly over sky? I cant decide whether i want quantity or quality? before you got quantity but it now seems they are going for quality.

I understand people's fears, having suffered numerous mis-match joke fights over the years on sky at the hands of others.

But matchroom have served up the cream for their stable so far in barker vs Martinez, Froch vs Bute.

Especially when you see the turd poor Clev has dined on in recent times.

Dropping the others is not good in any shape or form, 100% agree with that - but that's at the hands of sky.

I like a balance, I don't want Sky boxing just becoming a showcase for Matchroom's few stars who've already been built up.
We need the lower level events televised also. Boxing as often as possible for me.I'm thankful for Boxnotion and Channel 5

When i turned up to the Hotel we had 2 rooms one for me and the other for the my trainer, they gave me Money for expansive, train taxi's etc. Got Money for food which was more then enough for 2 nights. When the Show had Finished they came and found me to give me my Money.. All this without me having to ask for it.... This don't happen in Pro Boxing i was Shocked but everyone that i had spoke to and told them that had worked with Matchroom said this is how they work all the Time......
