Good for Bute' a warriors attitude and that's all he can do is try and erase the ghosts but Froch must think it's money in the bank already.

It's not an immediate rematch. It'll be next March according to the article. So Froch will likely have 1 more fight before then and Bute may have 2 before then.

True but I can't see Froch getting destroyed in November but he may take some more serious miles on the clock against Kesslerleforge wrote:He fighing in November in the UK first.Final round wrote:Good for Bute' a warriors attitude and that's all he can do is try and erase the ghosts but Froch must think it's money in the bank already.

I like the Pavlik fight, he's a tough strong dude with a punch and he likes to trade but he's not got the quality of Froch nor the beard.
A proper bang up.
Re: Froch Bute 2 - didnt see bute taking that
Pavlik's never been away from home - he won't be able to handle the British beer, and Froch should beat him up.

It would get US tv as well a big name as well. Kessler v Froch needs to be in a bigger venue than arena

Re: Froch Bute 2 - didnt see bute taking that
Froch v Bute 2 is a million miles away from happening. Anything can happen to both fighters between now and March to scupper such a showdown. I think this is just rhetoric on Team Bute's part
Re: Froch Bute 2 - didnt see bute taking that
ill believe froch v bute 2 when i see it, deep down bute knows froch tore him a new arse, he will not want that to happen in front of his homies!!

It would be pretty funny tho, given some of the crap his fans wrote about Bute in the past.rhino222 wrote:ill believe froch v bute 2 when i see it, deep down bute knows froch tore him a new arse, he will not want that to happen in front of his homies!!

They would be mad to risk Froch against anyone in anywhere other than The Nottingham Arena, attendance wise.

Could Froch - Kessler II do enough numbers for the City Ground?mickey1975 wrote: They would be mad to risk Froch against anyone in anywhere other than The Nottingham Arena, attendance wise.

Not sure its possible during footy season anyway , but even still cant see it selling out , think Meadow lane would be a better option than City Ground TBHearsjohn wrote:Could Froch - Kessler II do enough numbers for the City Ground?mickey1975 wrote: They would be mad to risk Froch against anyone in anywhere other than The Nottingham Arena, attendance wise.
Re: Froch Bute 2 - didnt see bute taking that
It's not unheard of - Bruno v Bugner was at White Hart Lane in October; Benn v Eubank II at Old Trafford in October: Eubank v Watson II at WHL in September - I'm sure there are other examples, so it could be done.damianhucker1 wrote:Not sure its possible during footy season anyway , but even still cant see it selling out , think Meadow lane would be a better option than City Ground TBHearsjohn wrote:Could Froch - Kessler II do enough numbers for the City Ground?mickey1975 wrote: They would be mad to risk Froch against anyone in anywhere other than The Nottingham Arena, attendance wise.
Re: Froch Bute 2 - didnt see bute taking that
would you gamble and put an outdoor show on with this years weather...
The upton park show next week is going to be a wash out in the expensive seats, the people in the stands will be laughing.
The boxers will get wet on way to the ring....all crap really.

Re: Froch Bute 2 - didnt see bute taking that
Im thinking more along the lines of tickets being available for the Bute fight right up until fight night than the weather!
Re: Froch Bute 2 - didnt see bute taking that
Is Kessler too much of a gamble for a massive fight with Bute (with seemingly little risk) in Canada next year.
Re: Froch Bute 2 - didnt see bute taking that
I think if they got the ticket prices right they could do good numbers, the Bute fight was pretty expensive in the current climate but had to be that way i suppose to pay the money to get Bute over.I think with the right promotion and the right price stratagy they could get 30000.mickey1975 wrote:Im thinking more along the lines of tickets being available for the Bute fight right up until fight night than the weather!
Re: Froch Bute 2 - didnt see bute taking that
I'm not fussed whether it's Pavlik or Kessler next.
Kessler looked done against Green though, saying that Pavlik has hardly excelled since losing to Hopkins back in the day.
So long as it isn't Dirrell I'm not bothered who he fights.

Re: Froch Bute 2 - didnt see bute taking that
I don't think Kessler fancies it, now it comes to crunch time.
His family wanted him to retire after their first fight, then he withdrew immediately from the super six.
He will price himself out of it.

Thats certainly the rumours i'm hearing. I think Froch will end up fighting someone like Bika which is a good fight as i dont think Pavlik will travel.G0mez wrote:I don't think Kessler fancies it, now it comes to crunch time.
