Haye/Chisora Fight Prediction Poll
Haye/Chisora Fight Prediction Poll
Assuming no disqualifications take place, it would be good to see the results of this poll!
Re: Haye/Chisora Fight Prediction Poll
Haye 6-9 I've gone, I think it will be in the 6th itself.
Re: Haye/Chisora Fight Prediction Poll
I reckon Chizzy causes the upset here. Impressed with Del Boys ability to close the gap and his head movement, don't think Haye will be able to keep him at bay once he's tired.
BIG fan of both fighters, so I ain't too arsed who wins

Make or break fo Chisora, anything other than a win or close decision should mean back to domestic level for a while!
Re: Haye/Chisora Fight Prediction Poll
Domestic level ain't a bad place to be at the minute if your a heavyweight in the uk !TopGun wrote:Chambers2 wrote:I reckon Chizzy causes the upset here. Impressed with Del Boys ability to close the gap and his head movement, don't think Haye will be able to keep him at bay once he's tired.

True, good crop of fighters at the moment, shame none of them will fight each other!
Re: Haye/Chisora Fight Prediction Poll
I'm shocked that only 12% of boxrec readers give chisora a chance !
Re: Haye/Chisora Fight Prediction Poll
Twelve percent of voters favor Haye; they may also give Chisora a chance.
Re: Haye/Chisora Fight Prediction Poll
I think haye should win, but I would still call it a 60/40 match up, ive been talking to a lot of people and it's the same answers, not many giving chisora a chance, that's crazy after his last 2 performances and Hayes last twocrusader wrote:Twelve percent of voters favor Haye; they may also give Chisora a chance.
Re: Haye/Chisora Fight Prediction Poll
Haye to dance around for 12 rounds and win on points.

Yep - the way I was thinking too
Haye to dance around for 12 rounds and win on points.
Re: Haye/Chisora Fight Prediction Poll
I agree, he needs to be careful though as DC may slap his red nose off during the weighin.CB wrote:Haye to ride a unicycle around for 12 rounds and win by squirting the water from the flower in his left lapel.

I so hope it's not an anti climax this fight. The undercard is pretty poor.
Re: Haye/Chisora Fight Prediction Poll
Same here. Haye plays safe. He might get a KO regardless, but I can see him winning on points.tonyevs wrote:Yep - the way I was thinking too

Re: Haye/Chisora Fight Prediction Poll
Looking at this it looks as if it'll be difficult for David Haye to impress if everyone is convinced Haye will win this handily. If David Haye is using this as a stepping stone to bigger fights, what will it take to improve his reputation from this fight?
My guess is he'll need another contest to get the big fight.

Re: Haye/Chisora Fight Prediction Poll
Charles will pull him out around round 9/10. Chisora has a good chin but it doesnt mean he wont end up with a face like Briggs after the Klit beat down.
Re: Haye/Chisora Fight Prediction Poll
Haye decision.
The longer fight goes the better chance Chisora has at pulling the upset.
I'm not sold on Haye pummeling Chisora. This fight will be competitive. Chisora has solid whiskers and is relentless. I think Haye get son his bike in the later rounds.

I thought significantly fewer people would overrate Haye following the Klitschko bout, but I was probably wrong given the number predicting a quick and easy Haye victory.

What's the Wlad fight got to do with it? Chisora is nowhere near Wlad physically or technicallycrusader wrote:x2Cas wrote:I'm not sold on Haye pummeling Chisora. .

Re: Haye/Chisora Fight Prediction Poll
I think there is a good argument to say that Chisora is coming off 24 good rounds while Haye hasn''t fought in over a year, however as far as I'm concerned Haye has better wins on his record be that his win v Ruiz or Harrison, and I think he'll be well up for the fight.crusader wrote:x2Cas wrote:I'm not sold on Haye pummeling Chisora. .

Re: Haye/Chisora Fight Prediction Poll
The Wlad fight showed that Haye doesn't possess the abilities or the willingness to take advantage of them that many people thought he did. I believed this would cause a large portion of these people to alter their assesment of what Haye can achieve to a point commensurate with his abilities.Final round wrote:What's the Wlad fight got to do with it? Nothing suggests that Haye will win by early and easy KO, so I think he is being overrated again given the number of people predicting that outcome. Maybe someone could point me to the fights suggesting a facile victory for Haye.

There are many reasons to believe that Haye will defeat Chisora; there are few, if any, to believe that he will stop him easily and quickly.

Fighting Wlad is a different ball game though, no similarities to Chisora at all.crusader wrote:The Wlad fight showed that Haye doesn't possess the abilities or the willingness to take advantage of them that many people thought he did. Why compare the performances, Thompson and Haye is a better comparison
