Neither murray has been seen for a whike, but if anything joe looked a better prospect, he actually looked as good a prospect as any of the olympians that went pro...?
Has he retired or?

Re: Wheres Joe Murray
he had 2 fights against chris male for english title called off one thru tv pulling out and one thru a injury to chris. chris's team tried to re-arrange the fight but hattons chose not to give a date to chris so the board put forward names for chris to fight for the vacant title. ( date set for 0ct 5th v jon fernandes 9-0) in the mean time the board has ordered joe v smith as an eliminator for selby. interesting to see if that happens as both lads in the same gym

Joe murray looked superb in his brief flirtation with the pro game, couple that with bronze at the world amateur champs, not bad. I believe your assesment to be a tad harsh.jessi wrote:Don't care his crap

He seems a nice guy with a bit of skill.
But "boxing is a business" and the way he has been matched , indicates he neither has the punch-power or attitude to attract any interest, either locally or nationally.
A bit like a baked potatoe, without any butter on it.
He needs some toppings
