Kell brook changing Trainers and camp whispers from gym..??

Post by kellbrook1_insider »

I have received some inside information to someone very close to Kell Brook that he may want to change camp's away from the Ingle gym as prince Naseem Hamed once did could this be good for kell Brook or will it be a mistake?

I think he should stick with the Ingles but i can see him improving his style with Emanuel Steward his style is not the typical Ingle style where he cant be improved like Naseem Hamed who found it difficult to adapt under a new Trainer... However i can see that Kell Brooks style is quite his own and does seem like he could develop more under someone like emanuel and a new strength and conditioning team.

Eddie Hearn seemed like he wants to see some massive changes for his next fight and the camp seems to have played a major part in to his slowing down in the mid rounds and the diet which is down to his trainers.. Kell did seem to feel the camp and diet played a part and acknowledges changes need to be made it will be interesting to see what develops in the coming weeks and months..

well done on a very good performance showed he can come through a battle but I feel was not the best Kell brook can be and hopefully comes back stronger.

Kell does seem like he could do with a change. Ingle was flustered in the corner and doing/saying silly things. Kell's stamina is obviously suspect at the moment.

Changing gym when his next fight could be a world title fight. No chance.

it did seem like they did not know what to say to him and seem organised in the corner kell brook can be a very talented fihter but i could see him improving massively with another team and away from all the hype and he could really transform but it depends if he really wants to see change in himself and does not have an attitude that he can not improve technically... carson was not technically that good and if kell wants to improve he really needs to relocate its hard when you have a family and a kid but sometimes its a matter of your career and one loss can change it all.. he can improve more then Amir khan he is more skilled but if not mark my words personally i think he will get exposed kell does not like taking shots or fighting on the back foot... i did think kell would totally beat khan but this performance has changed my mind and it would be a very close fight then expected... i as a kell brook fan really hope he does think of changing his camp i think it will do him wonders moving to the u.s or finding another renowned trainer...

true not the best idea but think personally it could really focus him in to being the top fighter he is being around some real experienced top class team of trainers and conditioners the shame is brendan ingle is not in his corner that man was the real deal of a trainer.. his son seems to be more in to body building and probably is not giving him the correct advise on how to train and technically i think kell has adapted the ingle style in to a more controlled style and personally seeing him under one of the top trainers i can really see him improving drastically and the change i think would be shocking in his technical ability...

Bollocks....changing trainers rarely works IMO ask Ricky Hatton. The truth is that was his hardest fight and the reason he struggled towards the end of the fight was because of him not the trainer. He switched to Southpaw in round 8/9 and didnt look like he had a clue what he was doing. A real learning fight and one which will benefit Brook in the long run for sure.

I mean he had the granny punched out of him for 5 rounds by someone that had 8 loses and had even been KOed by Alfonso Gomez

Seems like guess work this after the comments after the fight. I think they might get a conditioning coach on board but can't see him leaving the ingle's. As for the fight I think Jones is a very decent fighter although Brooks power is clearly over rated.

I am talking major changes i dont think David coldwell is anywhere as good a trainer then Dominic ingle i just think kell really needs a change with a real world renowned American trainer and new strength and conditioning team as i am guessing dominic ingle thinks he is everything rolled in to one trainer/strength & conditioning coach/ diet advisor/ bodybuilder and thinks kell will do well with the same workouts and his style of things he needs a change if he really takes his career seriously as he can have a really good one but staying there and all that hype about he is this and that is no good we know he is good but he can be great and if he makes some really crucial and hard decisions he will come out better in the end the ingles will produce more fighters but its his career on the line...

I also had this fight a draw, but to suggest that Jones, even with those 8 losses, is not a legit, top level welter would be naive at best and . . .

Jones wasn't KOed by Gomez. He was dominated. He was about to lose a decision. But, the stoppage was utter trash.

The Jones that Brook just fought is not the 20 year old kid that Gomez schooled. Jones is nails. He has come up the hard way, just flat-out never quitting and outlasting the competition.

Brook is weak to the body and lacks stamina but he has excellent skills and he had the heart tonight to not fold the tent when things looked bleak.

Both fighters deserve respect for their efforts tonight. It could have gone either way but I do feel that when it is that close the strongest fighter at the end should get the nod.

If this had been a 15 round fight, Jones would have finished him.

Just my 2 cents worth from across the pond.

I really liked that interview, at times Eddie is a bit too salesman like for me *i know thats his job by the way* but in that interview he was very honest and talked like a fan more than a promoter and he was very honest about Aston aswell saying that if you wanna go further you have to be beating that level of opposition. Good stuff and thanks for posting it :TU:

Great stuff from Eddie. Maybe it's because the interview was away from the bright lights that he was less salesman and more down to earth. He sounds like a good promotor to have. It sounds like he's putting the blame on Kells shoulders "he didn't prepare as well as he should have" but maybe that's just because he wont slag off Kell's training team in public.

The corner did seem totally unorganised last night. There were a few times where Kell didn't seem to get any instructions at all - they just spent the time finding water etc to pour on him. Eddie needs to get that sorted also.

I always thought he was more or less forced to leave Dave after Dave fell out with Kell's promoter of the time.
