Hall is a good bloke but he does not have the skills to work out a fighter like Haskins.

Haskins style reminds me of Witter for some reason. I hope Haskins get a world title shot cos he has done the hard yards.

Re: haskins dominates hall
Haskins looked far too good for Stuey who looks quite one dimensional.
Hopefully Haskins continues to move onwards and upwards though.

Haskins is criminally underrated.

Definitely deserves his big shot.
Think his inactivity has been down to not getting the calls, not his choice.

Well done Lee Haskins. A fighter who actually backs up what he says he is going to do !

i'd say he's over achieved in winning a european title.dondada wrote:Haskins is criminally underrated.

Haskins was in 2 absolute stinkers on Friday Fight Nights, since then he has struggled for work it seems.. and rightly so imho. One of the most unwatchable fighters in Britain.
Re: haskins dominates hall
Haskins has a style that can be really effective and attractive to watch against a boxer with a certain style; against another type of boxer he is far less effective and the bout is terible to watch. Haskins is a very good boxer who has a bit of spite in him and hits hard. I'll watch him again and feel that if he has the chance will do well against some of the bigger names.TheCobra wrote:Haskins was in 2 absolute stinkers on Friday Fight Nights, since then he has struggled for work it seems.. and rightly so imho. I haven't watched a Klitschko fight that hasn't involved a British fighter, other than Vitali v Sosnowski, in years now.TheCobra wrote:Haskins was in 2 absolute stinkers on Friday Fight Nights, since then he has struggled for work it seems.. and rightly so imho. If he can get himself a World title shot then I won't care how boring he is, purely off the fact I will support a Brit (within reason) in a World title fight.

Haskins hasnt been fighting often over the past few years cos he got messed around for a shot at the European super-fly belt with the fight falling through atleast 3times.

I was there and tbh thought the judges were a bit harsh, should have been a lot closer, and some of the bristol fans thought it a lot closer.Anyway stuey far from happy with his performance,so good room for improvement.it was always going to be a hard fight as haskins is very hard to hit.

Re: haskins dominates hall
When Lee is motivated and on song it will take a special boxer with finely honed skills and the right game plan to beat him. He's so awkward, fast, nasty and can bang. When he thinks he's got you he will try his damndest to get you outta there. His style can produce absolute stinkers but the fact is he gets results. He's paid his dues and deserves a crack at the big time. You never know hes just the sort of bloke who could end up bringing home the Bacon and I for one wouldn't be surprised if he did. Good luck to you Lee.hitman_hatton1 wrote:i'd say he's over achieved in winning a european title.dondada wrote:Haskins is criminally underrated.

Would he campaign at bantam at world level, though?

Why have purse bids been called for this fight? Is there going to be a rematch?

Re: haskins dominates hall
If he got offered a World title shot at Super-Flyweight or Bantamweight I'd assume he would take it.mickeyb wrote:Would he campaign at bantam at world level, though?
I hope he gets a shot in the next 18 months, but if not I hope he stays active with defences of his European belt.
