biased commentators
biased commentators
just watched american copy of benn v mclellan and was amazed at the lack of credit given to benn throughout the fight by the commentators, upon rewatching the uk version i found the commentators to have a very unbiased veiw of the fight,i understand how some commentators get carried away with patriotism but think the u.s are most guilty of this.

Re: biased commentators
You are having a laugh, surely.
I'm neither British or American. The commentators from both countries are as bad as each other.
If you can somehow get over your own personal bias or support for a fellow countryman, try and take a listen to Sky or allegedly commentary with a neutral ear.
It's just as cringeworthy as some of the American commentary.

Re: biased commentators
Most ridiculously bias commentary I've heard is George Foreman during the Tito-Hopkins fight. Who refuses to acknowledge Hopkins is doing anything right until it's been made ABSOLUTELY clear that this is simply his night. The Brit Commentators during the Julian Jackson-Herol Graham are hilariously biased. "Jackson a great puncher, but tonight he has so little....in comparison to Graham"...a few seconds later when the right hand nearly kills Herol Graham "OH NO!!! That's what we were worried about, Oh he won't get up from that"

To be fair, until the finisher, Graham was beating the sh1t out of him.gilgamesh wrote:Most ridiculously bias commentary I've heard is George Foreman during the Tito-Hopkins fight. Re: biased commentators
there are counter examples. klitschko-lewis ... vitali
got a lot of credit by the commentators. ask lennox
how the post fight interview felt.
germans are really the worst. they seriously do not
even try to pretend objectivity. pretty embarrassing
in a way.

Re: biased commentators
There are all as bad as each other, to be honest.
American, British, German....all the same. I do have to say people like Jim Watt and Al Bernsien, however irritating, dull, boring or whatever as usually pretty impartial. So I tend to like listening to them.

Re: biased commentators
If you want to hear extremely biased commentary watch the RTE broadcast of Bernard Dunne's fight with Ricardo Cardoba.
