most boring fight you ever seen

Post by littlepug »

stumbled across johnny nelson v carlos de leon whilst sortin thru some old fight tapes and set myself the challenge of trying to rewatch it, unfortunatley the size of the task was too great for a meer mortal such as myself and i retired after 2 rounds ! got me thinking had that been the first fight i had seen rather than benn v watson i would probably have never watched another fight again

The real disappointment there is that we knew he had that amazing 45-degree Kung Fu Death Punch just sitting on ice he couldve unleashed at any moment to spice things up, but didnt.

Have to agree with you, painful to watch, I remember the crowd booing very early on and even the ref asking them to fight !!!

Mads Larsen - Sven Ottke

Round 1-11 looking the same with both landing 1-2 shots each round
Round 12 Ottke running backwards the entire round, because he knew that he was ahead on the score cards.

Nelson - DeLeon, awful! I didn't see either of these but I hear they ran it close: DeLeon vs Jose Burlon and Nelson v James Warring.

Nothing that I've ever seen can touch Nelson - DeLeon, it was unreal for a title fight.

Ive always found Wright-Hopkins a surprisingly enjoyable fight, definitely not as boring as some believe.
