Come on lefty, he wasn't a saint but this was his forum and we all interacted with the kid. Let's pay our respects to one of our own, and besides, no-one knows what transpired yet. The brothers involved were probably scum of the earth anyway. Who knows.

He was a bit of a loose cannon on here, from memory, and racked up a few warnings.

What a tragic story though...so sad.

As far as Dominic Ingle, he has always come over as very professional to me, he also speaks a lot of sense in the corner, in fact he was yelling instructions during the fight, for Kel to move to his right away from Carson Jones right hand, the only area of concern was the panic by his other corner men, who did not seem to be on the same page as Dominic, though if there is an area of question for Dominic, it would be why he did not seem to use any vasaline after washing Kel down and then drying him off ?
i like your contributions when you are like this saf, i think that's why myself and others get frustrated when you get involved in slagging matches :TU:
When people are insulting and ignorant, I respond accordingly and when people debate in a logical and intelligent manner I again respond accordingly, I don't like to have to slag people off as you call it, I would rather educate and learn in a interesting boxing debate, I am sure you would like the same.

Think he's from the Manchester area.
I'm sure that was another Teddy
Looks like you're right fella, apologies to all.
On a serious note, can't believe that about Teddy, genuinely shocked to read that. RIP.

You don't know me.

I'm old enough to remember all the unmerited abuse Brendan Ingle used to get and don't like people jumping out of the woodwork (like Shah and Hunter) to abuse people on the internet. People who know him know that he's a good bloke and a top, top trainer.

If I've offended you I apologise.

It will have only been a preliminary hearing. A Murder trial will take months to get to trial.

So one person should be "respected" purely on the basis that he used to post on this forum, whilst you immediately label the others involved as "scum of the earth" (I am of course assuming that you do not know the actual details of the case).

What if it was the other way round - would you be asking for the 2 brothers to be respected whilst referring to the other person as scum ?

Some screwed up logic that mate.

Teddy was a popular fella on here so it is only normal that posters who interacted with him want to say nice things.

The inability to read strikes again.

That is why I used the word 'probably' a good chance that if someone caves in the head of someone and kills them, they are probably scum of the earth - there are two guys alive whilst one is dead - that is fact. The rest of it is conjecture. As it is, Most of us on here have interacted with the deceased poster and would like to pay our respects - that is all. I am sure the Ward brothers would have websites they used to post on or maybe not, it wasn't this one that's for sure - thus I don't care nor would anyone else on here.

I've not critisized Brendan, and I really enjoyed my time training and sparring with everyone during my time at the Ingles' gym. I just remember Dominic could be hard work to get on ,and have a laugh, with. :TU:

I haven't given any details about what lead up to Dominic threatening to knock me out because that would be unfair to people who probably don't use the site and would be in no position to reply. What I will say is your memory isn't "serving you right" if you were there at the time. Were you? If you know who I am let me know who you are (p.m me if you don't what to give your identity away on the forum).I don't hold a grudge against Dominic, I saw him in Meadowhall a year or two ago and we had a bit of a chat after Dominic said that he hadn't recognised me at first (I don't know why, I haven't aged a day). As I said in my reply to pugilist-specialist I found him at times difficult to get on with. You are entitled to your opinion on whether or not he would beat me in a fight. I just said it would have been interesting if he had tried to knock me out, none of the people I fought managed to and only two people put me on the seat of my shorts for counts of one or two. The first was a man who beat Ryan Rhodes in three rounds, and the other was the number ten middleweight in Britan who I boxed on short notice and with a broken left hand. :TU:
