Spoon if I recall came into that fight not in good shape. I think Smith's power punching would've gotten him out of there in the next round or so.

Tim didn't want to win that fight, he just went through the motions. King was bilking him out of a lot of money and dropping the belt was the only way to sever ties.

Spoon came as close as it is to putting in a non effort which isnt a dive, in that fight.....what mitigates him is he too his shots like a man against such a powerpuncher, and went down three times.......it wasnt Seldon versus Tyson.
