Burns versus Mitchell undercard
Anyone know what other fights are on the bill. With the quality of the matchroom show last weekend surely this will compete???
Re: Burns versus Mitchell undercard
This won't happen but I would like to see
John Simpson v Stephen Ormond
Stevie Simmons v Chris Keane
Micheal Roberts v Mickey Convey
Jon Slowey v Robbie Turley
David Brophy v Paul Allison
John Thain v Jason Ball
Now that would be a good card

Re: Burns versus Mitchell undercard
it would be. but would like to see a few more meaningful title fights such as another 'world' title, european or even a couple of good british title fights to start the season off with a bang.
Re: Burns versus Mitchell undercard
Can't see it too be honest mate. My list was only one title fight and it was a Celtic one. Can't see any european or British title fight on it. Sammy Hill is also on bill. Ooh and how did I forget Scott Harrison!
Re: Burns versus Mitchell undercard
Michael Roberts V Ronnie Clark
These guys both wanna campaign at super featherweight so lets leave the excuses out oo they will meet at a later date. Anything can happen in boxing. Let them get it on now. Michael is a great lad and a great fighter which is why it needs to happen. Come on Mr Nelson you said its an easy fight so should not be a problem for Michael. ;)

Re: Burns versus Mitchell undercard
Micheal would fight Ronnie no bother if Ronnie can make SFW like he states but then its really up to his manager,Stephen would take the conquest fight in a heartbeat but not Sept hes only doing 6 rounds as he on holiday till end of Aug but we'd have no problem taking it Oct over 10 roundsdiggler wrote:I'd love John Murray v Scott Harrison on the undecard and Steve Simmons v Tony Conquest would be a good fight

Re: Burns versus Mitchell undercard
Glad Scott Harrison is on credit to the man for turning things around
Re: Burns versus Mitchell undercard
Ronnie is fighting at super featherweight at the Ice Arena on 1st of September so that would not be a problem. I hope this fight happens but I do believe Michael has not fought anyone at Ronnie's level but we will soon see:D
Re: Burns versus Mitchell undercard
They will both be able to do super bantam if the weigh in is 60 hours before the fight a la Haye v Chisora
Re: Burns versus Mitchell undercard
is Ronnie only boxer you ken like and i think you've got a problem with Mr N or his boxers if i was Mr N i would ask for Olympic testing on you the way you go on about your Ronnie and maybe him as well since he is massive at the weight
Re: Burns versus Mitchell undercard
Are you for real Olympic testing? Ronnie will make Super Feather at championship level with weigh in the night before. As for massive at the weight yes Ronnie is but he walks around at 9st 10 so I'm sure he will comfortably make the weight. He would accept any of those tests. As for a problem with Billy. Jamie and myself are Ronnie's brothers so obviously want to see these fights. We get on good with Billy and all his fighters as I'm sure Billy would say...SMASHING wrote:is Ronnie only boxer you ken like and i think you've got a problem with Mr N or his boxers if i was Mr N i would ask for Olympic testing on you the way you go on about your Ronnie and maybe him as well since he is massive at the weight
I can't see this fight happening if I'm not mistaken it's not down to Billy but Alex Morrison.. This is a good fight if it happened but it won't so no need to talk about it anymore

Ronnies a good fighter mate but you know has well as me he dont walk about at 9st 10 lbs well he never did when he was with me,hence my doubts he can make the weight safely and yes i do get on fine with Ronnie.daviddee wrote:Are you for real Olympic testing? Re: Burns versus Mitchell undercard
I also know both Ronnie and Michael, both of them would fight anyone who was put in front of them. Michael was a very experienced amateur whilst Ronnie gained most of his experience in kickboxing, if both fighters keep winning then the fight will no doubt happen at some point. Its a fight id like to see but don't understand why people on Ronnie's side are chasing after it so much. Keep fighting and keep winning and see what happens!
Re: Burns versus Mitchell undercard
It would be a pretty poor undercard for world title fightxrgcx wrote:This won't happen but I would like to see

Re: Burns versus Mitchell undercard
What about Harrison v Hunter? Both rebuilding and both around the lightweight mark these days? The fight would be fun but the party after would be off the scale!

My guess is youv not saw all these guys box because if you had you would realize these would be good match up. Just because there are no big names doesn't mean they wouldn't be good scraps.
Re: Burns versus Mitchell undercard
I've seen a few box and they haven't really excited me much. (apart from Simpson, Ormond and Ball) Harrison V Murray, maybe get Degale on there aswell and the undercard would be strongxrgcx wrote:It would be a pretty poor undercard for world title fight[/quCamcas wrote:xrgcx wrote:This won't happen but I would like to see

Re: Burns versus Mitchell undercard
Warren wouldn't pay the money for Murray to fight hArrison is degale to fight on the bill plus degale is a top of the bill guy now couldn't see him fighting on some one s under card
Re: Burns versus Mitchell undercard
wasn't long ago he was on the undercard of a Burns fight in a tune up.
I was looking to get a bundle of tickets for this from ticket soup for a group of mates but the booking fee is £6 per ticket, is it just me or is that a disgrace? Booking fee's are a rip off at the best of times but £6 is shambolic. 10 tickets costs ya an extra £60 for what exactly? shambles.
