Why should Witter, as champion, take the short end of the stick? He's British champion, former world champ at a lower weight... Frankie as a pro is a nobody. Who's beaten nobody.

The only way he's going to get anywhere is to rip up that contract and insist that he's on every bill for the next 12 months, then start to make a proper move up the ranks.

If they aren't going to do that, he might as well give up and get a job.

He's a great lad and has ridiculous ability, but he couldn't have been handled worse. Some of his problems have been of his own doing, but where's the help been?

That was gavins one bad day at the office, some fighters can't get motivated for some fights and gavins one of them.

Some of the most gifted boxers are upset by boxers they couldn't get up for; anyone Frankie fights from now on is looking to further their own career and prospects; he's not the bright shining ight now. The World Championships he did so well in were 5 years ago.

Gavin has been consistently below the high standard he set in the amateurs.
No one has ever denied his huge talent but so far he has really under achieved, he is not a young kid no more either.

I was really hoping that Gavin would be fighting for world titles in Birmingham by this time. I'm only 10 mins away so was looking forward to following a local lad on his way up but it's just never materialised. Bad management

Definitely, there has always been a good showing of Gavin fans at the cards he has been on. If he was really pushed in Birmingham they would come out in their droves. I know i'd be making the short journey if it was local and it would be much easier to rope mates who are just casual fans to go more often if they could follow someones career
