Rounds 1, 2, 3- Cobb

Round 4- Even

Round 5- Cobb

So far it seems to me the commentators are more than biased in favor of Norton, I cant see what Ken Norton is remotely doing that constitutes an edge over Cobb....

Round 6- Norton started fast, but I call it even (again)

Unofficial Scorecard (In my judgement)- 4 rounds Cobb, 2 Even

Round 7- Norton

Round 8- Cobb

Round 9- Cobb

I think I've seen enough here.... I think what happened with the judging is that Cobb's punching power and the fact Norton had been inactive for 18 months, played favor with the judges.... Most of them rounds I could have called 'even' because they both would give and take at a frenzied pace, but Cobb had a higher volume of punches in my view.

Well Cobb certainly thinks he got taken for a ride by two of the judges.

Put your scorecard up Buzz.

You rightly had a dig at me and Irene for clogging up the Where's Wally thread with irrelevant crap.

But, unless you give us a look at how you scored the fight, a fight you felt strong enough about to start the thread that spawned this one, it looks like you could be doing the same.

Nonsense, I'm stirring the pot of discussion, to gain insight, judgement and clarity regarding a split decision. I am neutral on the matter, but can and will likely be moved by the good arguments made by our educated and diverse group of remarkable contributors.

Will you be opining on the topic at hand?

When I have time to review the film, I will participate.

That would be the best way to find out what happened, Buzz.

We can then see if you've improved at all since your last "effort" which was the Ali - Young affair I believe.

I got caught up in personal matters, it's on my to do list.

I'm warning you...I'm infirm....uh I mean Firm but I'm fair.. And by god anyone sticking his head out of the ring is going to get a point deducted. I'm a no nonsense judge.
