Bernard 'Bumhole' Bronte (or whatever the guys name is)

Post by danconnollyeire »

I swear this guy shivers at the name of Haye. Always turns in to a defence title. Apparently if Vitali didn't damaged his right shoulder Chisora wouldv'e gone in like one or two (it was he left shoulder. Vitali's best punch is a straight right which was landing clean all fight!).

This guy is pathetic and clearly scared of that long unbeaten Klit record going. And by t he way, who is Michael Charr?

Bronte vs Booth is a fight I would pay to watch, it'd need to get an LBF licence of course.

Bert and his team agreed a deal with Haye, to fight Vitali. Haye accepted it and then Bert and his gang changed their minds. Then he claims nothing was ever discussed or agreed :o

Complete cock. Vitali would take the fight but for some reason his manager is always back pedalling. For the record, I would still tip Vitali to beat Haye but that's not the point.

well apparently at the Vitali charr presser, k2 were claiming that haye ducked him to fight chisora when he was supposed to sign to fight him instead of charr in september. They do come out with some crap, the scrap at the presser was 5 months ago if that and they said no to haye then. Maybe they rang after the chisora fight had been signed and offered a tenner or something.

I wish he would make his mind up. First he said he wasnt impressed by Haye/Chisora but now on Ringside he is saying he was impressed.

Yeah but as Kingfinn said above, Boente clearly says at the Chisora v Wladimir presser to Haye, words to the effect of 'we won't fight you because you turned the fight down before' and now he is saying 'we offered Haye the September date but he chose to fight Chisora.' So the toss pot is a walking bible of contradictions. I aint saying Haye is blameless throughout the entire fiasco, but jesus it is so clear that negotiationg with Boente and the Klitschko's is like smashing your head through a brick wall.

Adam Booth confirmed that the deal was agreed but only on the basis Haye went straight into the fight with Klit - no Chisora fight.
That's the reason Haye isn't fighting him in September.
Both have good reasons peculiarly for the fight not happening.
Klit committed to a fight in September arena booked etc tv deal done, so could not risk that falling through if Haye lost or got injured against Chisora.
Booth insistant Haye would win easily against Chisora and come through unscathed so no reason he couldn't commit to September date.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
I think it's still a way off being made what with his Political career starting up.

James,
I don't think the Klit set up is any worse at elite level than the others.
They have a double product holding all the titles, guarenteed to make shed loads even if Mickey Mouse was in the other corner so they can (sadly) do what they please.
Business is business, sport is sport - in that order.

Wasn’t there a similar thing before whereas Wlad was scheduled to fight Chisora and Haye spat the dummy saying Wlad won’t fight me nine weeks after?

Any how Vitali will retire IMO after beating this guy Mick, Mike or Manny or whatever his name is.

Haye should KO the contenders and hope Wlad gets bored really quickly.

But to answer the question Bert just makes it up as he goes along.

Zero,
... and how many others do exactly that, if your point of making it up is accepted.
I don't think team Klit is any different to the rest of em.

You’ve lost me? I am saying Haye done it to Wlad, Vitali has done it to Haye nothing more nothing less. Haye hasn’t and shouldn’t complain because people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.

We agree mate think we're just losing something in translation.
When you said Bert just makes it up I agreed - but still believe team Haye and all others acting for elite boxers are just as bad.

Promoters are in the business of protecting (quite rightly) their fighters the problem with Bert is he contradicts himself in doing so all the time. He is similar to Ellerbe as in saying things that come back and bite him…

I remember Booth had him on ringside a while back asking for transparency you would have thought he stolen his lunch money…

The end of the day Bert is looking out for the best interests of K2 as Booth is with Haye. There are three sides to a story Bert’s, Booth's and the truth!
