He can produce a typed letter with a date on it no doubt, but can he prove that was in the envelope they received? Plus this whole letter referring to earlier letters is dodgy ground surely? Warren should have just produced a contract at the end of the day then we wouldn't be here now!

I really don't think its that clearcut and the Hatton's legal team are confident it seems.

I hope it gets sorted quickly one way or the other.
Well surely they could produce a copy of the original file which is automatically dated when it is first generated?
I guess so but it could have been changed or altered quite easily. Pure speculation of course but I fail to see how the contents can be proved beyond doubt.

Hatton v mayweathet or Zab may gross more , but the otlay will not be has much .

There you have it Hatton --- Witter is the money fight
Utter cobblers.

Mayweather isn't even a draw, neither is Judah, Mayweather has featured in exactly how many PPV fights? I'll tell you, ONE, that's how many, and that's because he fought Gatti.

Judah hasn't even had a £500,000 payday, wonder why that is, could it be that he is not a draw?

Either man knows that there is a fortune to be made in fighting Hatton on his turf, because Hatton draws crowds than everyone save the likes of Oscar and Gatti can only dream about pulling in.

I believe that Hatton could draw a crowd of in excess of 30,000 if he fought at the Man City ground against Mayweather, I don't think Mayweather could draw those figures fighting Hatton in the USA, because although he's highly ranked by boxing officianados, he has only just broken into the mainstream.

Zab v Mayweather is a massive fight, no doubt, but in terms of asses on seats, it won't be huge, because neither man has much of a hometown following. There are few American fighters who can pull in crowds like Hatton can.

So when you take the cost of staging at at Man City's ground to get an extra 10k people from the MEN at say 35 quid each you will see why you are not a Promoter yourself......fool! Mayweather doesn't need to draw 20k to make it pay the casino's foot the difference with a guaranteed site fee. You really need to educate yourself before writing this constant drivel.

Where did I say I was a promoter you dundas?

My point is this, Hatton is one of the biggest seat-fillers in boxing today.

Average ticket price would probably be more than 35 quid for Hatton v Mayweather, ringside would be fornicating astronomical for a fight like that.

I know all about site fees mate, so don't patronise me you lemon.

The point I am trying to make, is that neither Judah nor Mayweather are huge draws, Mayweather has only had 1 PPV success, and it would be interesting to see what figures he would draw on PPV fighting as the 'name' fighter.

Judah isn't even a draw in Brooklyn, and the casinos often struggle to fill their venues for fights, I know because I've been there and seen the empty seats at Marquez v Pacquaio.

You really are an objectionable arse, tell me, are you a promoter then, you seem to have so much inside knowledge that someone would think you worked for a promotional outfit.

Why do you bother coming on here?

Was Rios? Or were Holbaek-Pederson, Smith, Hutchinson, Vilches or Stewart?
I'm no Hatton hater, I like the guy a lot in fact but whether it was Allegedley or Hatton that was responsible, Witter has been strenuously avoided.

I would also say that people who are not regular boxing fans in the main (to use your terminology, wouldn't even have known who Tszyu was either, other than 'some bloke what was mentioned by that Jim Watt feller'
That is EXACTLY my point. The reason the tickets went so fast for the Tszyu fight, was because it was made clear that the fight was for the title of 'main man in the division.' The IBF strap was almost irrelevant, it was the fact it was for a genuine title and proved Ricky was truly world class.

Similarly, the fight with Maussa will be sold as a unification battle.

You could put Hatton in with a deck chair and he would sell 16.000, for a unification fight it's easy to pack em out.
Ok I'm confused, so why is Witter not being a draw a good reason not to have fought him already when we are in complete agreement that no matter who the opponent is, bums are on seats when Ricky fights?

I'm basically saying that from a promoters point of view, what does Witter bring to the table that cannot be achieved by fighting any number of other opponents.

Why? to expose complete morons like you. You know nothing about site fees, boxing in general or the financial aspect of sport in general. The Extra ticket at £35 would be an average injcome not exactly £35. My point exactly.

How about the fact that Witter would be a grudge match and is a huge domestic fight. To say he brings nothing to the table is ridiculous.......

The reason Witter said things about Hatton was because Hatton was/is ducking him. Its really pathetic to justify Hatton not fighting Witter just cause Junior called him a few bad names!.
As I said earlier if Hatton was half the fighter he's made out to be he'd get Witter in the ring and try and teach him a lesson.

Maybe Witter was disrespectfull to Hatton because he knew that if he give him some shit Hatton wouldn want to fight him..in doing so he may of been using the old double bluff technique..thanking his lucky stars that Hatton wont fight him because in reality he`s filling his shorts.

Pederson , Vilches, Olivera, Phillips, Rios, Tackie...all better than anyone Witter has fought....even Ndou(who IMO had the fight beaten out of him from Cotto) is very, very limited....Witter has done very little to deserve a shot....

Also...a "Proper man" wouldnt sit with Juniors dick in his mouth whilst rubbing his chebb`s
Ndous better than anyone Hatton fought other than Tyuzu. To say he got the fight beat out of him by Cotto is laughable when he broke Cottos ribs, pressured him to the end, while never been hurt and some (not me) say he beat Cotto. How exactly do you get the fight beat out of you while not been hurt?

Witter may have been respectful for the first 2years? Was he? But Hattons blatant ducking hardly gives him any reason to respect Hatton.

Plusi t is boxing u don't hype a fight by calling your opponent a nice fella, do u???
What makes Ndou better than anyone Hatton has fought barring Kostya???. He`s an opponent nothing more...brought in to last the distance whilst making the other guy look good...Cotto batterd the guy(imo) full stop..Ndou huffed n puffed..pushed forward a little...but even then Cotto was destroying the guy on the counter to the body..remember Cotto was(is??) still a novice at this time...

How much would the Man City ground cost out of interest? Because an extra 10k of seats at £35 a head would be £350k

Ok, I think it's high time everybody stopped trying to see things from the promoters point of view, promoters are scum, they are parasites. Boxing is in a shit state and it's all our fault because of this mindset, that's why good fighters beat the shit out of crap opponents, because everybody says "oh but it's alright because so and so isn't a draw. fornicate who's a draw and who's not, we know who's good and we want them to fight each other.
