I like st clair v wills - it was an easy win for Gary IMO.

I don't like Ndou v St Clair - ifear for Gairy's safety

Ndou was too big in the end, but St Clair put up a hell of a fight.

Who looked the most past it? Think both should consider hanging them up.

Lovemore is helping a "youth off the street" group with donations at the moment. Says he is enjoying fighting or he would stop.

I was pleasantly surprised with the action in this fight for two guys supposedly past their best. They were there to fight and did so. Thought it was a very close fight with Lovemore dominating the first five rounds and then Gairy coming on strong.

You could argue that Lovemore was lucky Gairy lacks power.

Tongue in cheek comment mate, as I thought the 70% Lovemore was.. tyson would be lucky to knock Lovemore out. gairy put up a great effort. I expected Lovemore to take him out, but Gairy showed great resilience after the early domination by Lovemore.

I had it 115-114 for Gairy it was close. I thought Gairy nicked it.

Thought Ndou just edged it but a draw wouldnt have been outta the question. Gairy just gave away too many early rounds.

I thought that Gairy just snuck over the line, yet the judges had Lovemore winning with rounds to spare, despite Lovemore being on the backfoot for a lot of the latter rounds. It was a lot closer than the official results handed in.

But Gairy has been the victim of a few dud decisions, where his softer punching is overlooked. An example of this, was his bout against Willie Kickett, where he boxed the ears off Willie, yet Willie was given the decision for a few angry shots.

Agree regarding the Kickett bout. Also agree that the fight with Gairy was very close. Thought margins were way too wide.

Nearly everybody I spoke to who was ringside had Lovemore winning. The margin seemed to vary from same as judges to alot closer

I thought Ndou just took it. 115-113.
Gairy gave Lovemore to big a start. Although he was all over him late.

Sweet P,

I am with you, Lovemore got off to a good start, I felt he won the first 6 rounds, then Gairy got going and tried hard to peg him back.

I thought it was close, and 116-112 or 115-113 is the correct score, even though Gairy was disappointed in the outcome, he can be well pleased with his efforts, and it shows he is still someone to be reckoned with, maybe not at the highest level, but he is still a danger with his silky skills and gritty determination.

I cannot for the love of me, see how one Judge had 117-112, but give him the benefit of the doubt, I only watched it on TV, he was there in person, and it's always a different fight on tele.
