Completely agree.smoggy7188 wrote:I dont see why Garcia should give him a rematch, he knocked him down 3times. If khan had done what Garcia had done would he have given him a rematch? no.

x 2 - People seem to be already forgetting the first 2 and 3/4 rounds. Khan was busting Garcia up, he was looking a mess.Trojans44 wrote:He deserves an enormous amount of credit for taking the rematch straight away. I see no reason why he can't win, he got caught with an absolute peach of a shot. What surprises me is that some people are still surprised. This loss doesnt make him shite, this is what the guy's about - can cause pretty much anyone problems but always in danger of getting ko'd.
He also looked pretty close to punching himself out at the point of stoppage.
Khan will beat him in a rematch.
Re: Garcia agrees rematch in uk
khan isnt gonna rematch garcia, we all know that. next time he fights it will be against a no hoper , or a non hitter. when the big boy beat him up he ran away. when maidana roughed him up , he walked away, and now that the young kid smashed him up .....
khan will fight mathew hatton ,or malignaggi , or some other punchbag whos credibility is hanging by a thread.
i would like to see khan face frankie gavin. it would be a payday for gavin, give him proper inspiration, and a win could see him transform his career...if that couldnt get him going ,nothing would.
im sure a fit ,and properly conditioned gavin would perform better against world class opponents than khan does.

Felt terribly sorry for Khan. And I think he was recovering when it was stopped. Though must admit the ref seemed to give him 20 second rests between the first two KDs.
All the way throughout his career Khan has had this macho tendency. He wants to smash people up. He wants to fight back when hurt. All very commendable…but sometimes just win… He went after Garcia. Had too much to prove… maybe pent up from the cancellation… But from round one his right hand was dropping and pulling back every time he threw a jab… He just needs to play to his strengths… Be honest about his own limitations…
I hope he wins the rematch because he’s very exciting.

khan always looks good in the begining, the thing is though that good fighters make adjustments to his speed and start looking to time him. garcia didnt just land one lucky punch, you could see what he was doing.what is khan gonna do different next time? run away? he cant fight at top level without exposing his chin, ...maidana rocked him, peterson rocked him,and now garcia, a younger more inexperienced fighter made him look naive.stujones wrote:x 2 - People seem to be already forgetting the first 2 and 3/4 rounds. Now, he wants another rematch against another defeat. He should just accept defeat and move on and try to rebuild his career, not continually go after rematches.
You've got to remember the rules of this debate. If he says he wants to try to fight the very best, he's arrogant.
If he wants a rematch with a guy who beat him, he's a sore loser.
If he doesn't have a rematch with a guy who beat him, he's a coward
If he goes to visit a sick kid in hospital, it's because he's desperate for the publicity.
Agree 100%, he can't win, can he ?

Khan vs Prescott later this year
Khan vs Garcia early next year
Khan vs Peterson mid next year
This I would like to see. If he's 100% focused on what he is being advised in camp, winning them all is achievable.

Khan has used FB and Twitter as his Ministry of Misinformation before. Doubt this is actually happening. I think Morales is exercising a rematch clause he has with Garcia, and that fight will make Danny more money than Khan will.
If Amir wants a big fight in the UK he should rematch Breidis Prescott. Knowing his career though, it'll be a Paul McCloskey rematch. Prescott has long looping power punches and at some point over 10 or 12 he will catch Amir then it's the patented Khan rubber leg dance all over again.
