I have known Jamie Cox for about 5 years and he has always struck me has a very nice kid, my lad Nasser Al Harbi has sparred with him many times in the past, he has got to be one of the most talented, hard hitting fighters Nas has sparred with and Nas has sparred some great people, he is one of the most conditioned fighters around and trains really hard, in his last fight against Sai, his hands went, bearing that in mind it was a very good performance, his hands have now been repaired, providing he hands hold up, I expect him to beat Sai in the rematch, with no arguments. Believe me a fully fit Jamie Cox is a match for anyone in the country.

But im sure if he wants to keep the belt he has to Ghana to defend it. Please can anyone tell me if the information I've got is wrong?

hope to see Cox back in the ring soon, he should learn from the Sai fight , and maybe that will make him work harder and realise that boxing instead of fighting is the way to win some fights

There is no way it will happen in Ghana, I have some contacts in the Industry in Ghana and funding is a big problem, a small show costs about 3,000 pounds in Ghana and they struggle with sponsors and ticket sales for them, paying for Jamie Cox and his team to go over would be very difficult, they would need big sponsors or a joint promotion with promoter from a major country.

Don't know yet, the promoter?matchmaker are trying to match him up, The Promoter did try Erick Ochieng for the English title last week , but they have someone else already, do you know who erick has got, shame it would have been a great fight, maybe might happen in the future for a bigger title, I like Erick, learning his trade well.

Promoter already knows who he wants Erick to fight but keeping it close to his chest. I think Ochieng Vs Nasser could be British fight somewhere down the line. Sugar Jackson is fighting Jimmy Colas for the EUR lit mid belt in Sept, Ochieng gave jackson a hiding in sparring....you never know with boxing!

Yes Mcato, you never know. Jimmy Colas got beat by El Maachi, Jackson was offered to Nas in Jackson's home town, but we were given short notice, they both have world rankings, so good scalps.
