Have another go! I'm not trying to justify excluding the results...what I'm trying to do is offer context that is important, but that hardly anyone seems bothered about.

I fought a badger in the park yesterday for the WBO Inter-Galaxy Title. It was sanctioned by the Vatican City Boxing Organisation. Why isn't it on BoxRec?

We had a ref and everyfink.

Why Are The Upton Park Wins/Losses Not Showing On BoxRec?

Post by Fletch »

Why are the bouts at Upton Park on Saturday July 14th not showing up on BoxRec? They are all being shown as NCs instead of wins and losses?

Despite the BBBoC's objections the fighters were all legitimate licence-holders, and the event was licenced, conducted, endorsed and promoted within the guidelines and laws for such an event. The WBO belts being fought for are legitimate and prestigious and will be defended within 4 months.

The BBBoC are painting themselves into a corner and it does not show BoxRec in a good light if they are taking sides. If the fights are not to be officially recognised then there needs to be an explanation.

What is the situation?

Nonsense. They are a load of bollocks.

Why don't you have a look at the numerous other threads about the listing?

The WBO International one is particularly shite, having literally been made up weeks ago.

Not yet they don't. We live in hope. You never know.

As for the above four sites, it's heartening that you're recommending them. If I were you, I would certainly use them for all your future boxing record needs. :TU:

Most of my posts on the subject are just going along with something The Law said and I'm only stating my opinion on the matter. If you're not happy with what I'm saying, then stick me on ignore.

This one isn't stating your opinion. We know your opinion - you've stated it often enough. It's the umpteenth time you've had a dig. You're like a broken record - some of us who have given far more to this site than you are a lot more pissed off than you are and are hoping a sensible resolution is reached.

As I said elsewhere, perhaps the most disappointing thing about this bollocks is the amount of people who have benefited from the site for years who can't wait to stick the boot in at the first opportunity. Repeatedly, in your case.

The Law wrote what he wrote in good faith and I agreed (and agree) with him. That was our understanding. As for sticking you on ignore, you're miles away from that. I'm in my tenth year on here and I've only ever had to do that once.

At the end of the day, I have to accept your right to use the forum as you want to, within the rules. You crack on.

Actually Ian, technically Wiki shouldn't as their boxing stats are powered by BoxRec (I thought).

Update - Badger failed a urine test so I got my belt back. :D
