Also with all these good cruiser in midlands why is nobody going for the title very strange.

Watched a few clips of Iqbal, he looks to have a lot of talent, great ko in his first fight, boxed lovely on the outside, set him up for the right hand, then good night, great move, bit early to get too excited, but he certainly has the tools, looking forward to watching his progress.

just seen some clips saf, and Iqbal seems to have Khan-disease with his feet. what is it about fighters nowadays bouncing around dementedly, settle the fvck down man!!!!!!!

but yeah he does seem to have good athleticism, moved well from the waist, stepped and pivoted nicely for the finisher.

I think he was dancing round like Ali, more then Amir, flicking out the jab, then setting him up for the right hand, looks good on the pads as well, seems Athletic as you say, time will tell, also we will learn more when he is tested, if he can do that against good fighters, we have something really good.

Nothing lucky about the 10th round knockout of barrington brown by Troy James, Clinton. It Was a good tough fight though, nip & tuck the whole way through until the big right hand landed and barrington was out on his feet ands dropped and everything. I guarantee you'll see a different Troy James when he fights September for the English title mate. Great to see Shane has got his just desserts aswell with the British title fight m8, well done, I hope he wins it back, great for the midlands

Nasser Al Harbi from this list, has just been given a world ranking by the WBC at Welterweight, in the latest July rankings, great reward for all his hard work and great performance against world no 6 and former world title challenger Emanuele Della Rosa, where Nasser was very unlucky to lose a close disputed decision, in the Italian's home town for the WBC International title, this will hopefully open some doors for Nasser in the near future.

Everyone will be watching Curtis Valentine after his win against Ryan Aston, to see if it will be a launch pad for bigger things, only problem is he could have difficulties being matched after stopping such a high level performer as Aston.

Troy needed to win the last round, which he did easily anyway even without the k.o. But it was a nice bonus to seal a great nip & tuck fight, so he would of won anyway, saying that though Barrington Brown fought out of his skin, he told us afterwards that he had never trained so hard, and it showed, great kid in and out of the ring, I hope he gets chance to fight for it again, he deserves it. Mean while we're hoping to bring the English title home on 22nd September :)
