Decent match up on paper, but Miranda is on the slide&has a punchers chance,i think Bomber will beat him&look good in the process...

For all Eddie Hearn's talk about this bill being one of the years best its very disappointing. Barker v Rotolo is a terrible match as a headliner, Rotolo's last meaningful fight was 5 years ago and 6 of the last 7 guys he has fought had losing records. Doesn't get much better with the Bellew fight, Miranda is a very old 31 with a lot of hard rounds under his belt and with his best days having come at middleweight and this fight being made at light heavy its a bit of a mis-match.

Eddie is hyping it as 6 title fights on the one show, but when the titles up for grabs are the
WBC International light heavyweight title, IBF Inter Continental middleweight title, English light middleweight title, English welterweight title, Southern Area light welterweight title, and another minor title fight to be announced for John Ryder.

That's a pretty piss poor line-up and harkens back to the one-sided FW cards when he was the sole promoter on Sky Sports.

Slightly!!! Listen I know you have a soft spot for Eddie and his team for the way he treats fighters that box on his shows and I'm not disputing that at all as its to be commended especially when you hear horror stories about other certain promoters in the UK. But this show is simply filling a sky date with no meaningful fights whatsoever in my opinion.

i like the bomber match up, quite an even fight in my eyes, miranda comes to fight, as does bellew, miranda can get tagged...as can bellew.

i think we may see a change of opponent for barker, just got a hunch thats all.

If Miranda has anything left, this could be a terrible match up for Bellew.

Clever from Hearn. Bellew gets a good name on his record and Barker has a comeback fight before Murray or Proska early next year hopefully.

Since Miranda has stepped up a weight division his record isn't good.
Also starting to get a bit of a reputation for the low blows !
Good match making I guess.
A decent name but one that Bellew should put to the sword if he's serious about mixing it at World level.

Great matchup to make, Miranda is a name still on the world scene and will provide Bellew with a great test, if he passes it well then you can see he's on the fringe world scene. I think Miranda can give Bellew some real problems, but hope Bellew wns of course.

Only Bute Abraham and Pavlik have got rid of Miranda inside the distance. Good company for Bellew to be keeping if he can get rid.

Good fight for Tony to get his name out there a bit further, he has won me over in the past couple of years, thought he was a complete tit when first came on the scene but now i understand where he is coming from a bit more and he always speaks sense.

Hope he can put on a good show and make a statement

Take your point on board Wales - but Miranda is fighting at a weight division higher now and has not been impressive.

Miranda is too strong for Tony, i expect a pretty early KO for Pantera.

Agreed and hasnt laid anyone out since Sierra (groves next opponent) who was smashed inside a round 2 years ago.

Last thing you lose is your punch and Miranda has a decent dig, does tony have a decent chin.... hasnt really looked like it so far at Mirandas power level. Might be a "118-110" night for Tony, i really think he needs to adopt a "if the stoppage comes it comes approach"

Bomber hits frighteningly hard with either hand, Miranda won't know what's happened.

I think this could be a really close one, possibly a bit like Kell Brook's recent fight in terms of closeness if not unfolding in the same way. Bomber has looked good recently, but this will really tell us if he has what it takes to go to the next level. Great opponent to get and well done again Matchroom I say.

I think Tony could box his head off, but I think he wants more than that, a mid round stoppage of Miranda will get people talking :TU:

Now here is a fight. Miranda is definately (with respect) better than everyone Bellew has faced, with the exception of Clev, and even there Miranda would have a decent punchers chance. It seems with Miranda if you can either counterpunch him on the way in (like Bute did) you can deal with him otherwise you're in for a tought night because you end up having to take what he has and also be able to bully him back and break his heart (like Pavlik and Abraham managed.) He has a huge punch so I am amazed people are complaining at this fight. It is definately a step up.

Bellew is no where near world class, sure he gave Cleverley a good fight but i wouldn't rate Nathan in the Top 10 Light Heavies either.

Tony is European class but from what i've seen isn't anything more then that and despite Miranda's losses recently they've only been to Top 10 guys like Chilemba, Bute and Ward. Stylistically someone like Bellew is made for Miranda who i expect to wipe him out in a few rds.
