What a difference, Hearn said Barker could fight Proksa, and now is fighting Rotolo..... But one thing, he has given the chance to Proksa to fight Golovkin (now the EBU title is vacant for Barker..., and Proksa has a very difficult fight,in this case, promoter never lose!!)

Miranda is a good test for anyone, if Bomber leaves his chin out there it could be a disaster. But Miranda did look a bit lost after the first 3 rounds against Chilemba, as if he knew what he wanted to do but the body wasn't willing to do it.

If Miranda comes with ambition it will be a good fight.

Darn, I hoping for Bellew vs Karpency.

I guess Edison Miranda will have to do.

Does anyone know how decent the view is in the cheap seats?

Looks like a fun card if it does miss a few equal fights on paper.

Good fight for Tony, Miranda is a name on the record but his best days were at MW and Bellew is a genuine LHW with his own punch to boot.
I expect Tony to outbox Miranda and probably stop him but should be an entertaining fight.
So Coldwell won purse bids to show him against Mac, how've Matchroom got this one..

Good match-up on paper, Miranda has a bit of name value (albeit slightly diminished of late) and will probably give some good value quotes and press conferences. Two big punchers who can be hit, should be fun.

The Barker match isn't the most pulse quickening certainly, but the plan was obviously to have him face the winner of Hope/Proksa and the Golovkin match has understandably put paid to that. Barker has been out for a while too, so it's a reasonable comeback bout.

Dive for cover this is potentially going to be a wild one two guys who have got a lot of power but I think that if Bomber can box the way he did in the second fight against McKenzie he should beat Miranda, otherwise it is going to be a wild one. Go on Bomber we are all behind you.

its a step up slightly for bellew on a decent card against a fighter who has a decent name in the us albeit mostly losses at the top level its a step in the right direction as hearn will probably gety him out at the end of the year as well too much inactivity through no fault of his own has harmed bellew

Would he beat all Bellew's opponents barring Cleverly? Yes? So he is a step up? Right. Stop fornicating moaning. Be realistic about how he is gonna step up. Be realistic that he aint gonna be fighting Hopkins, Pascal and co just yet.

I'm a big fan of 'Pantera'. He's seen better years and the ambition is probably not there anymore.

Bellew, was put down by McKenzie, so plenty of chance that Edison will do the same. Edison looked sharp against Chilemba, last time out, but lost his way once he was badly cut.

If, Bellew is Top 10 as some rankings suggest then he should be seeing off an old, Edison.

Trash talking will be fun and it could be a cracking fight. Miranda, has enjoyed his previous trips to the UK.

As others have said, if Bellew is top 10 he shouldn't struggle with Miranda who has done little of note above 168...though the fact this is considered a step up says quite a bit about Bellew.

Personally however I'd have though McIntosh v Miranda would be around 50-50

I reckon Ovil could chin Miranda at LHW if he was given the chance.

I believe this is a good fight and a step in the right direction.. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't want handouts.. I just wanna fight on a regular basis and see how good I am or can be!! I don't claim to be the second coming of Ali but I dedicate myself and just wanna know how far I can go.. I'm sure I'll now start to find out the above questions I ask of myself..

Once again thanks to all you on here who support me.. It's appreciated :TU:

Best of luck mate. You seem to be taking your training real seriously with each fight (saw some of the sky coverage of you sparring Carl before his fight with Ward.) My advice obviously counts for shite because I'm not a trainer but you definately don't wanna be letting this guy land on you, he can be beaten and outboxed but if he lands one on anyones chin even at light heavy they are heading for the canvas.

Not a huge fight, but potentially a huge banana skin for Tony.

Certainly a step up, barring Cleverly, and an entirely different kettle of fish.

It's a good move, Miranda still conjurs bad intentions despite the fall from contender, to yard stick, to name alone.
