He has his moments, (don't we all?) but if you asked him a detailed and obscure question about boxing from some time ago then odds on he'd know or be in the ballpark. Maybe Bunce is not his best in studio conditions? I don't right care; he's a fan, spoke at Shaun Grays' funeral and does his best. He has a boss who pays his wages and he's not in a position to tell his boss to kiss his arse; the same as most of us.
All true, but the difference is that most of us don't walk around pretending in public that we are in a position to tell our boss to kiss our arses... Steve 'I tell it like it is' Bunce does.
There's no doubt he loves his boxing though, and his knowledge surely can't be questioned?

Bunce and Lillis are not good tonight, they now want people to tweet in who is the worst middleweight champion of the last 50 years. Classy eh!

Lillis and Bunce were unable to say Kentikian earlier
Bunce said Chagaev had 3 pro fights prior to beating Savon in the 1997 Worlds, it was 2
Bunce said we'd get to see a bloody one...and we saw one with out any bloody...

...sigh...

it has been name dropping and cringing tonight, really poor presenting. Be ok if they had a couple of boxers dropping in to interview, something that Bunce isn't to bad at

This coming from the man who claims he has a degree from oxford......they must of really left their standards drop...OR you're full of shit?!
To be fair you aren't gonna get any idea of who the Oxford graduates are from seeing them type their opinions on a message board.
I should add to this that despite what I said above, there are some posters that clearly aren't Oxford graduates, notably those who can't spell or work out where capital letters are meant to be in a sentence.

An Oxbridge grad would never use "must of".

- 'Bute fight a mistake for fading Froch'
- 'Froch vs DeGale the stand-out British fight' (WTF???????????????????????)

Now the top 3 I disagreed with before they happened. The Froch-DeGale thing is insane. What really gets me is he rips fighters to pieces then bums them on his show (went on saying how Dawson can't fit his entire fanbase on a bus then says everyone will be routing him on against Hopkins!!!)

I've heard from a friend that Degale is signing with Eddie in the next few weeks so Froch vs Degale could be made easily, I agree with Bunce it could be a great fight. He also said that the Anderson fight is something that is on the cards.
