What Is Haye's Next Move?
Vitali is fighting Charr and then has the elections in the Ukraine, so Haye won't be fighting him this year.
A rematch with Wlad is not going to happen this year.
So what is Haye's next move? Will he stay active? Who would you like to see him fight?

Do you think he would stay inactive for up to two years in the hope of the fight?J-C wrote:Can see him fighting unless it's a Klitshcko
He won't be able to secure a fight with Wlad without putting in some impressive performances.
I think he may fight Povetkin next.

Povetkin or Huck would be decent.keithmoonhangover wrote:Do you think he would stay inactive for up to two years in the hope of the fight?J-C wrote:Can see him fighting unless it's a Klitshcko

Re: What Is Haye's Next Move?
Nelson kinda gave away on ringside that there was news from haye coming in the next month or 2. I would be povetkin or a klit imo
Re: What Is Haye's Next Move?
povetkin would give haye a belt to try and tempt klitschko with...but more importantly would give haye more 'purse' bargaining power as he would be a champion himself and not just a challenger!!
if he beat povetkin of course.

Re: What Is Haye's Next Move?
Do you not think he might try and do our two up and comers, Price and Fury?
Would be some good money in them, and two fights I would expect him to win.

Re: What Is Haye's Next Move?
If haye sparked one of them the other would run away......as it would burst their bubble potentially.
Re: What Is Haye's Next Move?
I think he'll take his time, he seems to have rebounded a lot of the stick from the Wlad fight by taking care of business.
He'll cool his jets and see what offers come in.

I can’t see him fighting Price they are friends, I remember him being asked about it and his reply was this. He is possibly waiting to see the outcome with Vitali's fight.dandrews010 wrote:Do you not think he might try and do our two up and comers, Price and Fury?

Re: What Is Haye's Next Move?
David's next move will be to go on holiday for a few months. He is not an active fighter at the best of times and i wouldnt expect to see him until well into next year.
Re: What Is Haye's Next Move?
I would imagine that he'll wait for Vitali to spark Manuel 'Jimmy' Charr and then see whether he'll be willing to take him on. If Vitali's really not going to fight again I can see David retiring for good...unless Wlad fancies earning a few quid.
I get the impression that even David doesn't know what he wants to do for definite though.

Re: What Is Haye's Next Move?
Vitali in the first half of next year, if he wins wlad in a rematch by the end of next year, if he loses either, one more possible domestic bust up to end on a high ! ( fury, price or a possible chisora rematch )
Re: What Is Haye's Next Move?
He will talk, talk .. and talk some more ..
And hope that he will have conned enough people to forget the Wlad episode.
I hope we have seen .. and heard .. the last of Haye.
He is a fake and a big con-job IMO

i think he should be looking at povetkin then wlad if he cant get vitali its pointless him fighting anyone who doesnt have a belt.

Re: What Is Haye's Next Move?
If the money is high I think he will fight most people but I think the payday he wants cant be met by very few people. This is why i think it is either a Klit or retirement. I cant see Fury and Channel5 being even close to offering the right amount of money. Povetkin is gonna sit on the WBA title aslong as he can waiting for the klits to retire. After Rahman, Povetkin will fight Holyfield. Haye is to dangerous so it wont happen.
Re: What Is Haye's Next Move?
Can't see it unless its Vitali. Personally I would love him to end Tyson Fury but there is no chance of that fight being made.
Re: What Is Haye's Next Move?
Povetkin wont fight Haye , he should but he wont , David Haye will most likely wait to see how Vitali goes at his next fight and call him out ,for me all the other heavys are either unwilling or unable to fight David Haye at the moment unless theres a world title on the line. Fury, Price , Micthel , Pulev , Boytsov, are all atleast a year to 18months away from Haye's level.kingfinn wrote:i think he should be looking at povetkin then wlad if he cant get vitali its pointless him fighting anyone who doesnt have a belt.

How many times does Wlad have to win that belt?rhino222 wrote:povetkin would give haye a belt to try and tempt klitschko with...but more importantly would give haye more 'purse' bargaining power as he would be a champion himself and not just a challenger!!

Wlad is the WBA champ

Re: What Is Haye's Next Move?
A flight to Cyprus and a long period of inactivity.
If it isn't either of the Klit's then its retirement surely.

I couldn`t dispute he is successful. His bank balance is proof of that.
But he all too often - especially at heavyweight - promises more than he is willing to deliver.
Just because he beat Chisora doesn`t mean he has improved or got braver than what he showed in the Wlad fight.
Seems people have short memories ..
Re: What Is Haye's Next Move?
Although he did promise to much against wladimir he still lasted 12 rounds when many people didn't think he would, if he hadn't of made excuses people would of forgave him, I from day one didn't think he had a chance against wlad but think he will beat Vitali, love him or hate him no one else in the world makes such an intereting fight then haye does fighting Vitali !tonyevs wrote:jessi wrote:Get real, his one of the most successful boxers out of the uk, fact !tonyevs wrote:He will talk, talk .. and talk some more ..![]()

It will happen and he gets my support, he didn't talk as much against chisora and this could mean the new haye means business ! Let the fists do the talking, I just disagree his a fake that's all
Re: What Is Haye's Next Move?
I don't know. It would do well domestically. I'm sure they could sell it. Haye-Fury is a good fight, build up and entertainment wise. Plus, Wlad's being going on about Fury as a potential opponent. To get him first would be a smart move and get up Wlad's nose a little bit. Shrinking the pool of decent competitors could increase the chance of a (pointless, to be honest, but I want see Haye fight again) rematch.Naandrew wrote:Can't see it unless its Vitali. We can dream.
