Naji Al Harbi, easy to work that one out when you look on my posts, in fact many people refer to me as Naji on here, unlike some I don't hide my name when I have something to say, I tell it as it is and don't arse lick anyone, I have an opinion like anyone else, I stand up for what I believe, but can also forgive, so if Frank Maloney can't remember our conversation and is sorry if he offended me, then I can except that. He is not the first person in this industry I have had a bad experience with and he won't be the last, but it is how you deal with the criticism that matters.

I have to say i do not recall the phone call but looking at his record is me who might have lost out.Any way as i said i am sorry if i was rude to anyone as this is a very small world and you never know when your paths might cross or you might need to work together there a lot of people i do not like or would call my friends in the boxing world but i try to keep my feeling under control as you never whats around the corner.Any way i wish you all the best and hope we can put any bad feeling behind us.

Maybe you had me mistaken for someone else, but a humane response and you have my respect for replying in such a fashion

I genuinely like the bloke and Eugene for that matter.

Remember i was covering a show for a now defunct website at the York hall and Eugene invited me back to the gym for a few beers post show, didnt have to, just he enjoyed a bit of banter we had ringside.

Unfortunately I had to work next day so getting pissed til 4 am wouldnt have done me any favours, but the gesture and kindness were appreciated.

Contrast that to the way you get treated at others shows, sat no wheere near ringside, partial view and made to feel you are a scumbag on the ponce for covering the show, no i can afford a fackin 40 quid ticket mate on fact i could probably afford to buy your company, this is a labour of love.
Frank never made me feel that way at his shows, was always most helpful had time for a chat and would give access to his boxers, even those who may just be there in the crowd he would sort a few sound bytes for you.

Thats what is good about the Maloneys, they are real people, and people make mistakes in life and work as we all do. No one is perfect.

Defo a force for the good of British boxing. No doubt in my mind.

What i was against was this was not under BBBof C but when you saw the public demand for this fight you had to look at it in a new light, Yes i would say the say things again. This was one of the reason i did not go to the show myself. Why stop David Price,s profile rising because of what i said and believe.i to this day have not watch the fight .

To me, when i looked at all the snippets with yourself and the Luxembourg fight, it seemed that in absolutely no way you were condoning it... then by your top fighter appearing on the bill suddenly seemed like you did condone it.

Sometimes it is difficult getting the balance of sincerity / strategy correct in the public's minds without getting flak.

All seemed a bit 'Don King' with two different flags in your hands.

Maybe you are right but it is hard to get the balance right. I did try and get the 2 side around the table before the fight to see if there could be away to work this out,but failed to as i really believe the boxing world here in the UK need allegedly to work and last or boxing will be in the hands of 1 tv company and 1 promoter which can only be bad for the sport. My top fighter did not appear on the bill he was working for the TV company allegedly. So what you are saying that all the reporters who were not behind this fight and wrote that in there nat. papers but were at the show covering it and wrote reports on it the next day saying how well it went were wrong to cover it. To me is just a days work for everyone and it was good profile for my fighter and why not if he is now going to be showing on allegedly.
