Post by martinez »

Juan Francisco Estrada participated and won the boxing reality show Campeon Azteca Round 3 that took place from Sept to Dec of 2011 in Tuxtla Mexico. The links below are the networks sites which have the fight videos as well as articles of the tournament as it unfolded.

Sorry, but due to circumstances, AFAIK, "Campeón Azteca 3" was a reality TV show and therefore, the results could only be included as no-contests. I didn't make these rules, but if you wanna see what I mean, see here:

Are those the rules of the local commission? I ask because each season of "The Contender" and the Australian version of "The Contender" were reality shows and the bouts from those competitions counted.

No, I believe they're not local commission rules. I believe they should also be counted as The Contender versions you mention and the example here of a prior Campeon Azteca tourney:

As you can see on the network website videos and coverage, the fights were standard sanctioned bouts by the local commission as any other fights would be, and were full fight broadcasts.
