Olympic Schedule and Draw
Re: Olympic Schedule and Draw
Are any British fighters fighting today ?
Re: Olympic Schedule and Draw
The fight with Jose Ramirez was excellent last night. Just a toe to toe brawl with Rachid Azzedine of France. Azzedine didn't even qualify for the Olympics. He was a third alternate with the two before him having their Olympic qualification withdrawn by their respective Olympic committees (he came through an international tournament (pro/am I think).

Loved Errol Spence last night, he is going to be an awesome pro.

I wemt to cuba last year and was speaking to (confronted by) couple locals. I mentioned a couple of the lads whod gone pro, rigodeux <sp> was one, and gamboa and they kind of ummmd and arrrd then i said "errr savon" their eyes lit up savon savon - that was about the end of the conversation tbh. To be honest the conversation had started a little worse when one of them barked "trainers how much" to which i replied "no no no money...... <shits self for 30 seconds> errrr boxing you like boxing? Rigodeaux <different sp> gamboa? (looking like im walking home barefoot, quick play the ace card) Savon?" all good.Old bones Ian wrote:At the mo Savon is probably the best super heavy Cuba have, they have more talent at heavy
That was off the complex. On the complex i paid a gardner 5 whatever the holidaymaker currency is (they have a holidaymaker currency and their own) to climb a tree get me a coconut and chop the top off for the missus. Next day same gardner found me "coconut?" ... "aye go on fella" chucked him 5 whatevers. This happened with alarming regularity on day 3 and 4, missus was sick of fornicating coconuts - turns out they were earning 30 whatevers a week - so i was paying them a 6th of their monthly wage for a coconut! Wondered why i was like don corleone, thought it was my polite nature and local knowledge, which by this time had extended to thumbs up while saying "savon savon". Equivalent of me getting 90 odd quid for getting an apple of a tree for some foreign pleb who kept saying "calzaghe calzaghe".
Bit off topic there, errrrr.... GO SELBY
