I probably enjoyed your show more than you tonight mate, the stream was good quality stuttered abit during the pro fights but I didn't miss any of the action, too many corparate fights but I'll always have an issue with you for that.
The last Corparte fight was more than worthy of a pro fight, shocked at the decision, I thought the loser boxed his head off, I clearly don't remember there names but judges in N.Z have to realise that straight on aggressive kick boxing style doesn't score points, oh well just a corparate fight.
The pro bouts very entertaining, I thought Williams won it easy but took too many punches. Your welter lad Taylor lost the first 2 rounds so could never actually win the fight (even though he won the last 2 easily) over 6 he would have won. And the last well your boy didn't turn up 4 round shut out. Cheers though Craig long may your Internet promotions contiue...

Firstly cheers for your feedback Yid, your always honest mate and thats appreciated!

From a promoters point of view the event was a sell out and we had to turn people away at the door which is always hard to do. A number of things to work on still, such as the corporate fight issue I agree there were to many. I had matched 11 with the assumption 2-3 would drop out as per usual. However this time around there were no pull outs etc so ran with the 11 we had. In future will be having 8 corporate bouts maximum 6-8 i think is ideal. I didnt see many of the corporate bouts but will be watching them over the next few days but I hear the last one was a cracker and a couple others were entertaining.

Mixed bag for us in the pro fights, but thats fight sport! And sport in general!! Jason I wanted to box a little more I felt he was letting Tafa back into the fight on occasion when he didnt have to. He got a little to loose at times to. But hes only had the 6 fights now hes still really a novice so happy with the hit out. Tafa is a NZ Muay Thai Champion and kickboxer/mma fighter a natural scrapper. Tough with a big punch. Good entertaining heavyweight scrap! Yea Anthony was rusty having had 6 months off but Aung also fought a smart fight, once Ant's got going and started finding his mark he was hurting Sander and he was able to pull the fight back. Its the risk with the 4 rounders you start slow and the fights gone unless you can get the big KO!! Which Brings me to Gunnar, I knew Dimitri was a tough opponent in that he has a good chin and will always come and fight hard. It was a risk fighting over 4 rounds for the reason Iv already stated start slow and your playing catch up, Gunnar is a 10-12 round fighter and we'll have to take this one on the chin. Its cost us Big time, but Gunnar will bounce back hes not the first fighter to loose a fight that was supposed to be a stay busy! Lessons are learnt.

Mate will continue with the internet promotions also, its not cheap but at the same time Boxing in NZ wont move forward without exposure so hopefully bit by bit we can get some of our pro guys in front of international auidiences and who knows maybe 50 Cent is watching and wanting to scout some Pacific talent :box: :TU: :OhYes:
