Re: Olympic schedule
Now the next guy from Italy has won, because the other guy hasn't turned up.
And they say professional boxing is crazy.

Jesus
That referee will forever be tainted by this too
Oh my god, look at the state of that Italian...he should seriously be tested
...in the next round by whoever he fights next.

4 years of training to be ruined by someone trying to make their own mark in the games, that ref should be banned. What country was the ref from?ArtOfWar wrote:F**king mental scenes now. The Iranian has just been disqualified for holding against the Cuban, which was bulls**t. Then he refuses to go to the centre of the ring. When he finally takes his gloves and headgear off he throws them on the floor and walks out. Did the right thing as well. The man has just had his Olympic dream ruined by a complete c**t.

I don't watch a lot of amateur boxing, but really?? was that a standard stoppage for the ams?
I take it this giant Chinese guy isn't turning pro.

Re: Olympic schedule
Savon has won both rounds, but the judges have it 14-12 to Joshua.
Re: Olympic schedule
Third round for Savon too.
Re: Olympic schedule
Ouch that was a robbery.

Home Olympics eh!?
Thought Savon won that by at least 2/3 points. Joshua looked stiff.

I wouldn't be happy if I was Cuban, a bit of a robbery. Hopefully Joshua will run with that luck, I wasn't impressed with the Chinese guy.

I thought it would go to count back at least.
Re: Olympic schedule
I thought Savon won that one. Joshua certainly landed scoring punches without looking as flashy but he can be thankful he's on home turf
