The point is Johnson didn't have the legs to keep away from Chavez. How can you blame him for that?.Kilburn wrote:Personally, I can see why some people would blame Johnson, a boxer, for fighting with Chavez. However I honestly don't believe trying to box and move would have served him that well. Chavez is more than just a brawler, he was very good at cutting the ring off and avoided many shots cleverly. Johnson still looked strong after the torrid opening couple of rounds and probably felt he could take over as the bigger man. He obviously never reasoned that Chavez would produce a career-best demonstration of world class conditioning. The guy just never let up.
really bad Leavander Johnson news.

What a buffoon!!silkov wrote:You're the one that started with the insults just because I questioned you blaming a fighter for getting injured. Now you're crying for the mods... you really are pathetic.
Are you one of those hillbilly inbreds with a picture of your momma around your neck and 'DAD' tattooed on your arm so as you don't forget his name!??.

Don't try and play the innocent easy going guy now. You don't give a damn really about fighters. You're just interested in playing the big man and spouting your opinions like you're some inside expert when really you know jack shit.Manos de Oro wrote:What a buffoon!!silkov wrote:You're the one that started with the insults just because I questioned you blaming a fighter for getting injured. If I don't care about fighters why do I have more posts than anybody - about triple yours - defending Tszyu's decision to retire on his stool back in June? There's also a multitude of examples of similar respect I've shown to fighters at all levels of the game.silkov wrote:Don't try and play the innocent easy going guy now. I'm far from an 'inside expert' or big man or thug - I'm actually VERY approachable and friendly IRL. It is YOU who is known for repetitive squealing when people don't agree with you, or when you are too ignorant to bother trying to understand differing views.

Having so many posts just shows that you like the look of your own views on threads. You like fighters so much you criticise and blame them when they get injured. Thats real class isn't it.
As for the Tsyu fight I said some people in general critcised him I never said you personally criticised him. The world doesn't end here I happen to look at a lot of forums.
You don't like me saying you shouldn't criticise Johnson but thats too bad, you can try to insult me till your purple in the face I don't care less you're just making a show of yourself mate.
Calm down before you give yourself a nosebleed.

No, having so many posts on that subject shows I cared about it; that I genuinely care about a fighters health. Where were you during that time exactly? Oh that's right, waddling away with your tail between your legs and egg all over your face after Hatton won.silkov wrote:Having so many posts just shows that you like the look of your own views on threads. It was actually your post at 6:03pm yesterday that brung insults to this thread, you mouthy hypocrite. Look at your 11:13am post to Southpaw, ffs!!
I don't know what you're going on about with me getting wound up, I honestly can't remember the last time I exposed an idiot with such ease, to be honest.
You're the idiot criticising a fighter for getting injured... its sick really. And stupid too. If Johnson could have fought Chavez another way he would have. You obviously don't know half as much as you think you do.Manos de Oro wrote:No, having so many posts on that subject shows I cared about it; that I genuinely care about a fighters health.
