Floyd would be a good fight. Good opportunity for Floyd to clear the ring rust before taking on Manny

It depends what weight he wants to fight at, and which title he wants to capture. If he is going for the super welter title, than a match with Trout could set him up for title contentions. Middleweight is probably the most stacked weight!, A fight with Macklin, Murray, Jermain Taylor, Barker would be good fights. I think it's also rubbish if Mundine says these guys won't fight him. Mundine could generate big money here in Australia and can offer these guys a decent purse, just like Danny green has done with his last fights.

I don't think many people laughed the first time he came out with that poppycock. The yanks seem to have no interest in Choc whatsoever.

think about this for a minute - mundine pissed lots of americans and many around the world after 911.
Mundine makes a statement about it to clarify his statement - reminding all of what he said all those years ago.
Mayweather comes out of jail (today) and steps up to defend americas honor and silence mundine etc - good build up for a meaningless tune up for mayweather - and he would be the hero in usa - mundine plays a good villan.

just a thought........................

Mundine's outlook reminds me of a converation from the 1958 film: Touch of Evil:

Mundine: Come on, read my future for me.
Tanya (fortune teller): You haven't got any.
Mundine: Hmm? What do you mean?
Tanya: Your future's all used up.

Hasta la vista, Mundine!

If he is serious about a super welterweight title he could always challenge IBF champion Cornelius "K9" Bundrage.

K9's team were approached and you won't be seeing that bout any time soon.

Choc needs K9 (which I am sure wont happen) Trout or a big name who is over the hill.....such as Mayorga or Mosley.
I dont think Choc can beat any of the names above, well maybe K9. But he is wasting time in the US fighting guys like McKart in the future.
If he is dinkum, come up with the money the above guys want, get the fight on and choc will soon see whether he belongs in the USA.
Impressive against McKart, but even an aging Mosley is a totally different challenge.
i know Mosley retired, but easy money does funny things to some folks.
or, if those names are too far away, how about the following....I'm not sure what any are doing !!
Corey Spinks
Kermit Cintron
Carlos Quintana
The Gomez !!

he was in the PRIME position to face TROUT, but dogged it with the excuse of not wanting to give trout a chance to get some good cash too.

who the hell gives up a world title fight when it puts u in the top spot to face cotto or floyd.

the opportunity was rejected by anthony. and yet some people still fall for his rubbish.

Calos Quintana would murder choc at 154. He looked the goods in his last fight.

Seeing as he's wanting to fight at 154, how about Winky Wright? Or Julian Jackson (maybe not, too dangerous)? Ralph Dupas? Mickey Walker's dead right?

Sandro Mazzinghi is still alive. At 74 he would probably still give Choc a run for his money.

Bundrage's management would no doubt be aware Mundine has no US following whatsoever.

Bundrage's management are aware that Mundine is easily the biggest pay day Bundrage would've received and tried to milk it beyond ridiculous.

Boxing is a business and negotiation a 2 way street. It's always the other teams fault when a fight isn't made.
