Indulge an old Manager...

Post by kevo »

I remember a simpler time in The Sim. Every season you had a bad guy (usually 'Buzz) and a good guy (Me, Sav etc) and a metric f*ck-ton of smack-talking between all the managers. Good, honest fun.

These days the match making threads read like the transcript from a complicated, boring lawsuit. Claim after claim after counter-claim. Smack-talk has been replaced by litigation, great rivals replaced by defendants and plaintiffs. To be honest, it's sucking the fun out of The Sim and y'all need to have a quiet word with yourselves (you know who you are).

I'm participating less and less these days, just show up to match my fighters an record results. Jbacca, one of the best managers of recent times, has opted out, and I can't say I blame him.

We need to get back to brass tack, nuts & bolts. What we need is shit-talking, mudslinging and down right rude behaviour, not 'He said/she said' bullshit arguments. It's killing The Sim, and nobody wants to see The Sim suffer, least of all me.

regards,

kevo (G.O.A.T HoF Manager)

Well said Kevo. Its been a pretty quick change.

The SIM now, compared to the SIM for most of the last HW season (my first experience) is a completely different place.

Its a game, and they are supposed to be fun.

Still fairly new to all of this, so I try to keep my gob shut and stay in the background but I realise its all fun. Looking through past SIM seasons (which is sad but something I did), I noticed that there was a fair bit more banter, smack and outright challenges being thrown around.

Not so much of this last season or this season, which is a shame. Maybe it is down to some of the older ppl not participating, such as SAV and jbacca always makes things lively. Or maybe its down to ppl taking it a little too serious, when it doesn't need to be? Fvck knows, but what kevo said makes sense.

Have you eaten?

Ye ma told me you get like this when you haven't eaten.

Cause, she was eatin'...a cum sandwich...from D's delicious dick oven! AND SHE LIKED IT!

Bitch.

Now send your two transvestite fighters over to my stable so the W.E.E.D. fighters can teach them the fine nuances of the sweet science in week 16, capeesh?
See? how hard is it to just outright insult someone?

You f*cking Sim-Lawyers make me sicker than D's Ma's Blue Waffle.

I have offered up a question which when answered, should lead us to the next steps here.

This all needs to be directly connected to a specific proactive action. I believe the record is clear, and I suspect the facts will lead us all forward, with logic, clarity, precision and an assured ethical framework.

I'm a bit fixated on that pic of Plnk......I sort of wish she would show some respect to the union working plumbers of the world.....but she's off by the narrowest it appears.
