weight division

Post by james c. villastrigo »

Thank you for updating my information I was not quite sure how much writing my complaint was going to be handled so I want to add that I have never weighed in over 143lbs and have always fought at 140lbs or less so I think I am more of a light welterweight and i'm listed as a welterweight. I have no plans of fighting heavier than 140lbs any time soon so please tell me what division that you would consider me in, thank you again. My trainer is Rick Montoya, I am 5'9 and my stance is orthodox. Thanks! James C. Villastrigo (fed i.d. #AZ057657).

James -

My name is Rich Yarger, and I represent a Junior Welterweight out of Southwest Missouri named Jeff Hinds. I was wondering who your management team was to see if perhaps we could possible put a match together between you and Jeff.

You may write to me with particulars to:

[email protected]

Thank you James!

Your response wasn't exactly the one I was expecting but I will pass on the offer and we'll see what comes of it. Thank you Mr. Yarger for responding to my message. I will contact you a.s.a.p. :box:

Thanks for the info! :TU:
When The Utah Commish bout sheet comes in U will be listed at that weight category.
U are listed as a welterweight at present because you’re last fight was at 143 which is the last “official” weight we have for U.
 We do not make the rules; we just enter them into the computer.

When I said pass on I meant give the offer to the next guy, you know relay the message? Scared? You sound silly but definately funny! So once again i'll relay the offer and we'll go from there, have a great day. No hard feelings right? Good luck to you and Jeff in the future. Thank you Blue for your response also, keep up the great work.

Hi James -

That wasn't me who asked if you were scared, but another user out here. No problem on the pass - I just wanted to see if you might be interested in a matchup (I'm the match maker for Jeff, and I'm always looking for matches for him).

No hard feelings at all, but if you ever change your mind - please do get back in touch with me!

Sounds like I read it incorrectly as well. Good deal, and hopefully we can put something together!
