Hatton v Lomax

Now you probably all know that Mike is a close friend of mine so I can be slightly bias towards him, but he has changed trainers and has been sparring with some big guys and he tells me he has been concentrating on coming forward more and sitting on his shots more.

Seems to fancy the job and has told me to have a sizeable wager on him which he never does.

Mike used to train us at Waltham Forest ABC. Aint seen him around the gym for ages... always see him cleaning cars in Larkswood car park. Nice bloke deserves the pay!

lomax is a very skillfull boxer but for a pro he does not carry enough power to get above domestic level but i think if he sticks to his boxing he could out work hatton but he'll have to ko hatton to get the win as hatton has a ibo title fight lined up for next feb in cape town south africa

He was a world class amatuer, as he's got great boxing skills. He isn't built like a KO fighter due to his frame but neither is Hatton. He needs to use his height and reach advantage!

Lomax was an awesome amateur... He would have completely schooled hatton in the ams- they were both similar weights at similar times... Boxings a funny old sport. I'd heavily favour hatton now.

Lomax s a good lad, he can box very well and would win the first 4 or 5 rounds v Matthew ok; after that though Hatton will pummel him and stop him late or bust him up; both nice men with no edge or nastiness to them. Hope Michael makes good dough whatever he does, seems a decent sort with a bad taste in hair styles
