Lidl free view box

Post by gman tilz »

Sorry a bit off topic but I can remember someone talking about a free view box that Lidl sells that you can scan for country's abroad and several other channels, any help on what they are called or if anyone knows if they still sell them or where I can get one from now days would be much appreciated. Thanks for the help in advance.

hi mate
it was me who made the thread.
they appear in lidl or aldi occasionally. you can also buy similar things on ebay or at maplin. they are not 'freeview' as we know it but the channels are free. they pick up all of the astra satellite channels from the continent, you can also point them at other satellites. they are normally about 60 ish quid for everything, often in a small plastic case.

I've got freesat, and you can use that to get other astra satellite channels, but they are hardly worth it unless you like God or those cheap tart channels.
