He lost to leonard because he quit, uninformed folks like yourself act like it wasn't a nip and tuck fight. He was winning the No Mas round.

He poked holes wherever he could, and didn't even mention many of his best wins(Hernandez,Manfredy,Corrales,Castillo, etc). I realize he started by talking about two different eras in his career, but that's the point. He wasn't assesing his whole career, and the part he did, wasn't even accurate, imo.

Hatton was a big win. The fact that cortez didn't let Ricky hold doesn't diminish it, it's a good thing.

Ortiz was legit. Defend yourself at all times, right?

DLH at 154 was still easily top 3, at that time. And he fought Oscar on his terms.

Shane was the lineal champ when Floyd fought him, as was Baldomir. I don't know what more people want.

JMM did have a bit of a size disadvantage, for once Floyd not coming in the smaller guy, so what? I guess Hearns KO of Duran doesn't count.

I'd place him somewhere between #20-30, as of right now.
re-watch hatton and mayweather jr. again. any time hatton tries to work on the inside and maul he is held up by mayweather jr. and cortez is breaking up any inside action that occurs in that fight.

ortiz was a legit win but if you can actually say that the way that W ended is something to say was an accomplishment well then i call bull shit.

DLH was a part-time fighter and don't give me the bull shit he wasn't. that was such a "name" bout it's not funny. de la hoya was getting beat by sturm & hopkins and then left in '04. took one fight against a faded mayorga and then took on mayweather jr. to say that was a prime de la hoya is ridiculous.

baldomir was very subpar. the only reason that win even looks like anything is because judah somehow lost to baldomir (probably because judah has very low ring IQ).

again shane beats a no-wraps, weight-drained margarito. how did shane look from '05-'10? had his last hurrah against cotto and that was it. the shane from the winky rematch was not the same mosley come the time he took on mayweather jr.

duran had fought at 152-157 8 times consecutively before taking on hearns. heaviest weight marquez was before he took on mayweather jr in their "146" contest : 135. so no ur example doesn't work.

im not "poking holes" in it. im bringing truth and not letting the name factor cloud me from spouting bull shit.

'96-'02? you won't hear me poke holes other than it's arguable he beat castillo in their first bout.
to me that does take a lil away from the hatton win because it was a good fight up until Hatton got frustrated with Cortez it was only after that mayweather really took over i dont know (or think) he would of beaten mayweather in the end but it would of been a better fight and a much better result either way, Cortez really F'd up in that fight

you do realize Duran was 72-1-0 when he lost to leonard for the first time? did u forget about how legendary his lightweight days were? he then beat Minchillo, put up a tough effort against Benitez (19 pounds above his best weight - Benitez being a guy much more skilled than any one Floyd or Pac have had to face in their careers - though MAB & Morales are close). beat Davey Moore, gave the arguably the best middleweight of all-time a close fight. lost to Hearns (again a guy more dangerous/skilled than any one Floyd or Pac have had to face), then beat Iran Barkley up at 168 (fresh off TKO'ing Hearns). and let's remember duran beat leonard!

duran is top 20 no questions and i dont think there's anything pac or floyd can do at this point to surpass him
Duran is probably in the top 5 greatest fighters ever. Who was the best fighter of the 1970's? No, it wasn't Ali. It was Duran.
Neither were. Monzon was the best fighter of the 70's.

LOL at the modding, I get called a moron and my docile responses are deleted while the initial "attack" remains. Way to go, you can't have vicious posts like  on a message board.

Saad, it would be me your LOL at......there were just so many insults, innuendos, and agitations that I was overwhelmed with the work load. But thanks to you I found the additional one you are referring to.

If you'll keep dropping dimes, I'll be able to improve my work, and I'll likely get that promotion to bathroom clean up that I've been pursuing!

I don't want anyone here to be called a Moron. It's unsavory, and it could even hurt someones feelers. (Believe it or not I too have been spoken too in such unkind ways, and I empathize with the pain you must be feeling.)

I'm not the type to drop dimes, I just found that quite funny. I've been avoiding these sort of skirmishes to the best of my ability, once in a blue moon I respond one of Mugabi's deranged posts when I read it before logging in.

To anyone this applies to:

If someone opinion is "out there" it should either be ignored, respectfully engaged, or straightforwardly disagreed with.

There is a lot of knowledge here, yeah and some vivid imagination as well, and honestly some of the most eccentric opinions can be

entertaining even if considered looney.

It's when it gets to the near "hatespeech" level that it becomes intolerable, and that always involves attacking the messenger, versus

taking exception to the message.
