It never rains, but pours: Sinclair pulls out of ITV show.
More bad news for Frank - ITV must be wondering what the hell they've got into.
Sinclair pulls out of title bout
Sinclair's withdrawal is unlikely to impress promoter allegedly
Neil Sinclair has pulled out of his Commonwealth light middleweight title shot scheduled to take place on Friday.
The Belfast man, a Lonsdale belt holder, said on Monday that he "can't find the edge" needed to beat champion Ossie Duran in London.
The cancellation of the fight is unlikely to go down well with Sinclair's promoter allegedly.
Sinclair has fought less than seven rounds over the past two years and his career must now be in doubt.
Warren's charity Debra is scheduled to benefit from the £1,000-a-ticket show at London's Hilton Hotel.
Sinclair said: "I'm just not on form and I can't find the edge needed to win a fight like this.
"I need to be at my best and after 90-odd rounds of sparring I do not feel good. It is disappointing but I cannot afford to go into a make-or-break fight when I'm not at my best.
"I was motivated for the fight but there was something missing, I wasn't on form."
Friday's bout was to be Sinclair's first fight as a light-middleweight but he now hopes to return to the welterweight division.
"I needed to be disciplined as a welterweight and I was always on form because I was always aware of my weight.
"I will drop in weight again to find my edge. I will look for opportunities at welterweight."

Looks as if this bill is jinxed for Warren, i think this was the one the Minter v Hatton was supposed to be on as well.
I'm a bit disapointed in Sinclair, as i always thought he had the potential to go further than he has, even after the defeat to Santos.
This isn't the first time that he's pulled out over motivational problems, and he doesn't have time on his side now to get his head together.

corect mate, this isnt the first timewith sinclair is it.Kilburn wrote:Sounds like Sinclair might need to hang them up. Would you buy a ticket for a fight he was headlining now? He's making the right decision to pull out, now I hope he makes another.
Doubt FW would promote him again after this and to be fair you cant blame him.
