Ricky Burns

Don't normally make comments on these forums/sites but find it interesting that Ricky Burns is lthinking of leaving his trainer this near to an important fight. Is that a wise move?

No it is not for me. Would be unsettling have to adjust a trainer's new methods and techniques especially when you have such a big fight which could be the making and breaking of you.

Ricky isn't stupid, I'm sure he knows what he's doing if it's true. Chances are that it'll be someone he has gelled with on some level before. Might effect his odds if it happens, an unhappy camp story. This is going the full 12 and a points win for Burns.

I am seeing it as a 12 round points win for Burns as well BB. I think he works off his jab and uses his superior footwork he will beat Mitchell quite comfortably, if he doesn't then he is in for a rough night.

Isn't this just part of the old 'boxing's dirty tricks campaign' being played out here? A psychological ruse to try and get Billy and Ricky rattled before the fight? l wouln't rise to it Billy just laugh it off as the amatuerish attempt at driving a wedge as it is.It is not even creative.

Nice try boxrob! Glad the record has been set straight. Feel a bit silly about my comment now. Don't believe everything you read, you reading this Jeff Thomas?

Still, Ricky will win!

Billy Nelson, yes it is my first post on here as I said, I dont normally comment...Just observe. And that doesn't mean when I do make a comment that I'm talking 'shit'. I came on here to ask for opinions from a rumour I heard and wondered if it was true or a wise move?

In less than 14 hours since I asked my question you come on here and say that I have gone 'quiet'. No, I just don't live on my PC or on it 24/7, I have other things to get on with in my life. Anyway, you seem up tight about this fight...Which is understandable as you know, it is a tough fight.oh and I'm far from a fool.

@JoeLouis1234, I'm not trying to play any 'tricks'. Surely professionals wouldn't fool for such a thing anyway. Billy, just because Mr Louis has his opinion, doesn't mean he is 'right' or the 'cat is out the bag' ? Just think there is no smoked without fire....
I didin't realise you was so sensitive or infact that you viewed these pages. I will be a bit more careful next time so to not upset you.
